Consequences?

When I woke up the next morning; I instantly regretted existing.
My head was pounding; I went to open my eyes and instantly shut them. There was way too much light in my room.

I could've swore I closed the curtain.

"Oh good, you're awake."

I immediately jumped out of bed and tried to get into a battle stance; but this hangover wasn't having it.

I stumbled over my feet as the world spun.

"Whoa whoa, I imagine the worlds not your friend right now after last night," his two arms caught me and helped me stand up straight.

"Thank you ka-," instantly memories of last night flooded my mind.

I'm never drinking again.

I did my best to fight back my blush. I'm honestly shocked I wasn't permanently covered in some kind of shade of pink around him.

"Are you okay darlin'?"

I couldn't bring myself to speak. I'd probably end up squealing.

I actually kissed him last night. Even though his lips were covered the whole time; it was still a kiss.

I gave him an awkward smile and then I looked down at what I was wearing. A tank top and shorts that barely covered me.

This time I couldn't help but squeal and I ran straight into my bathroom.

"(Y/n)?," Kakashi was right behind my bathroom door.

"Give me a minute! I'll meet you in my living room!"

I waited a minute before I stepped out of the bathroom. I quickly gathered some clothes and ran back into the bathroom. I needed a quick shower before I faced him again.

I showered and dressed myself all In a span of 5 minutes; the whole time I was silently cursing myself.
I brushed my hair and put on a little bit of makeup. I didn't know a whole lot about it; so a lip balm and mascara was all I put on. I was thankful for how much Tsundae paid me for these past couple of days.

I hesitated at my door; I could go out there and possibly get politely rejected; or who knows? I could have my feelings returned.

I didn't want to find out yet; I ran into the living room where Kakashi was reading a new book. Still his usual smut though.

"Let's go see Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura!"

I ran out my door but waited for him to step out.

As soon as he closed the door behind him I said, "I'll run ahead and find them!" And then I took off before he could say anything.

As I ran I sighed in relief. I know I'd have to face him eventually; but I wasn't ready right now.

I should've took some aspirin before I left, I groaned.

"(Y/N)!"

My heart smiled at the sound of my ray of sunshine calling me.

"NARUTO!"

He started running straight towards me and we ended up crashing together into a hug.

We were too busy laughing to notice Kakashi had already caught up to me.
When I looked up at him; my breath hitched. I could tell he was giving us that signature closed eyed smile.

I let go of Naruto and looked back at him, "How was your first real mission Naruto?"

His excited explanation of everything that happened truly made me forget that I even had a hangover. How anyone could dislike him was bewildering.
