Babysitters

"(Y/N), I know you just got back..," Tsunade trailed off for a moment before she continued. "But are you up for telling me what happened?"

I heard someone about to speak; probably Kakashi to protest; but I held my hand up to stop him. I don't know why he followed us here anyways.

Being immune to my feelings right now; I knew it wouldn't bother me to go ahead and tell her. I didn't know how long it would last before I finally broke down; so I wanted to get this out of the way.

I started from the beginning; with my abduction by Orochimaru; and I decided not to leave any single detail out. I told her of the leaf shinobi; my first escape attempt; and then I told them of the torture I endured everyday.

Slowly people dismissed themselves from the room. I understood; my time being captive wasn't pretty. Eventually even Tsundae looked like she wanted to leave the room.

Then I moved on to the fight bewtween me and Kaito, "I grew immune to the pain finally. So escaping and fighting him was easier than I expected." She nodded and I proceeded to tell her every gruesome detail of the fight.

"What happened to him after your fight (y/n)?"

I went silent; I really didn't want to tell her what I did. I looked at Kakashi and Jiraiya, "Do they have to be here for this part Tsundae?"

She nodded,"I know it's tough but they need to know; just in case they can still track him down." I sighed and looked up at the ceiling, "There's no need to search for him."

They all wore confused looks; but Jiraya spoke up this time, "What do you mean (y/n)?" I looked back at the three standing in front of me, "Because I ate him." They all just stared at me in shock.

I finally got tired of the silence; and honestly I was a little pissed. "His plan was to torture me before he ate me. Orochimaru escalated his plan for me being his dinner. It was eat or be eaten. Now can I go home Tsundae?," I honestly didn't want to be here anymore.

Tsundae shook her head and finally came to her senses, "Yes. I'm sorry. Kakashi and Jiraya will accompany you just in case." I rolled my eyes but complied, "Thank you Lady Tsundae." With that I turned and headed out of the office with the two men in tow.

~outside~

I walked a little bit before I stopped to relish in what was happening.

I was outside.

I was home.

If I were capable of showing my feelings right now; I would've cried. Instead I just looked up at the night sky and closed my eyes. I took a few deep breaths before I felt a warm hand on my shoulder.

I didn't look to see which hand it was but then I heard Kakashi speak, "Are you okay (y/n)?"

Oh how I wanted to laugh. Am I okay? Months of non stop torture; me finally caving and becoming a monster.. no. Worse.. a cannibal.. The man I loved moving on. Am I okay?

I opened my eyes but I didn't respond to his question. I looked at him and Jiraya, "So does this mean you both have to stay at my place?"

They both looked at each other and Kakashi spoke up, "The hokage wants us to keep an eye out for you for a little while. She's just worried."

I nodded, "I know she is. Let's go." I quickly started moving again. I couldn't wait to be home.

~(Y/N's) house~

They sat on my couch and I stood in front of them; they both watched me cautiously.

How frustrating.

"I'm going to get ready for bed," I walked out of the living area and headed straight for my bedroom. I needed my old clothes. I needed to get away from him.

I decided on a shower; I washed myself quickly but sat on the ground in the shower. I let the events that happened today cascade over me.

Everyone's looks of pity.

Kakashi and who I assumed to be his new girlfriend.

My need for two babysitters apparently.

Why couldn't it have just been Jiraiya?

Why did he have to be here too?

I'd do anything to be able to cry right now.
