CHAPTER 2

I looked at my watch. 2:00. Wow, I'm 1 hour late. I dialed the phone number which was given to me to refer to during my visit here. It was some guy named Mark, who was supposed to pick me up.

" Where are you? Do you want me to walk myself to the hotel?" I asked him
" no no I'm here. I just caught up a little traffic on the wa-"

I cut the call. I'm really punctual about time and I don't like any delay. I was looking around when I heard my name.

" MS Y/N!!" A guy with blonde hair waved at me. It was Mark I guess.

" You know I arrived at 1:00 right? You decide to show up an hour late?" " Maam there was a lot of traffic on the way-" " well then you should've have left early. let's go now." " y-yes ma'am Sorry"

We walked to the car. I took out my phone as soon as I got inside the car. I called the headquarters. I was soon connected to my dad.

" I've reached safely here. No complications."
" that's good. I hope you have met Mark. He is the one working with you in this mission along with a few other people. You will be lead to the headquarters in Vienna where you will be given information about Kim Taehyung. This might be our last call during your stay here. All the best"
" Thanks, dad. Bye"

This was going to be my first time visiting the Vienna headquarters. I had heard many stuff about this particular place, some good some bad. But amongst all of our headquarters around the globe, this one was the biggest one. I was pretty excited to meet my colleagues and seniors, who we're gonna be helping me complete this mission.

I watched as Mark drove at the far end of the city, a place which was inhabited. I was looking around to see if I could locate the building when a figure on the largest building on earth became visible to me.

It as completely made up of glass, But such a thick one that not a spec of light would be visible during the night time. Things were pretty serious and confidential here and most of the people liked keeping to themselves.

The ground opened in front of us leading to the parking slot. We parked the car and Mark led me to the lift. Soon I was standing inside the headquarters. It was enormous and I was spell bounded. The cabins were built on a pillar and were made of glass. Everything looked so cool here. Now I was looking really forward to my days here.

" Hello Agent Y, it's so good to see you" the assistant Director greeted me with open arms. I gave her a quick hug.
" Thank you so much, Agent M. It's nice to be here. The headquarters are so totally good" I said in amazement.
" Of course they are. Now tell me you didn't have any problem at the airport right? How was your trip through the city?" she asked
" It was good and I enjoyed seeing the city. The only problem is that Mark came an hour late to pick me. And you might know how punctual and serious I'm about time." I replied with a smile.
" oh about that. Well, he had a mission to take care of. You might be knowing about the cassette containing confidential information about the headquarters along with the map. Unfortunately, someone inside the headquarters gave the cassette to the government so that they could destroy this place. But now it's all okay so you dont need to worry." she said.
" oh, I see. So when are we meeting the Director?" I asked. I had to meet the Director to discuss the next plans.
"ill take you to him. He is in his office" she said pointing at the top where the biggest cabin in the whole of the place was.

We went to the Directors office. He greeted me excitingly.

"Agent Y! You are here. How are you?" he asked. I squinted my eyes at him. I had seen him somewhere.
" Uncle Max?! Is that you? Oh my god." I said giving him a hug.
"How are you Y/N'ssi. My, the last time I saw you was when you were 10. Look at you, you have grown up." I said with tears.
" well, duh! of course, I'll grow up I'm a human after all. But what are you doing here?!" I asked
" Long story, but we have time here so ill tell you later. But now let's get to work" he said. I nodded in response

Uncle Max was my most favorite one. He used to always buy me gifts anytime he decided to visit. I was his favorite niece. He was my mothers brother. He was always there for me after my mother and sister passed away. But due to some family issues he moved out of Korea. I missed him terribly after that.

" So Y/N you will start working from tomorrow onwards. I think you should rest today as you had a long day. You need to freshen up and get some sleep. Mark will drop you to the hotel." Then he turned to Mark." Explain everything. tomorrow is gonna be a big day. "

" Well, yes I will surely like to rest today. It will help me boost up my energy. But when am I gonna meet Taehyung?" I asked

" you will move in with him next week. The rest all details will be explained to you tomorrow. Now Mark take her to the inn."

[TIME SKIP] [ AT THE INN]

" Booking for Min Lisa," Mark said to a man sitting at the desk.
" give me sometime sir. Your room is getting ready."
" sure"

[IN THE ROOM]

Me and Mark reached to my room. It was big and I could see practically the whole city. It was a beautiful sight.

" Okay then ill take my leave. Be ready tomorrow by 7. I'll come to pick you at 7.30. And no delays."
" ill be ready. By the way, why didn't you tell me that you had a mission to take care of before collecting me from the ai-" I wasn't able to complete the sentence. He put his hand on my mouth to make me shut up. I was confused.

" do not talk about this anywhere outside other than the headquarters. Even ears have walls," he said with a serious look. I shook off his hand.
" but it's not like people are spying on us"
" no, you don't understand. This is not our homeland. It's not at all safe for us to even walk on these streets without being afraid of getting shot anytime. Remember to wear a vest underneath when you leave your house." He said and walked away

I thought he was pretty weird, but he looked good. Focus Y/N!! I quickly took a shower and hopped onto the bed as I wasn't hungry
