CHAPTER 28

Y/n's cramps and vomiting did not stop. They had become more frequent. She needed Taehyung's friends to help in most of the things. Since he had already taken an appointment, she did not go to the hospital. However, she took pills to cease the vomitings, thinking that it was due to food poisoning. 

Keeping in touch with Taehyung had become hard because the timings did not match. When it was morning here, it would be midnight in Seoul. So they used to do only one phone call.

Taehyung didn't show any enthusiasm in messaging her either. The truth he had got to know was bitter and severe. Y/n, of course, didn't know anything. 

Back in the Headquarters, another problem had arisen. There had been electricity cut down in the whole of Vienna, which usually took place for 3 days. This was bad as they knew Taehyung had gone back to Korea for a few days, but getting to know the reason behind it was impossible. There were generators, but they weren't enough to supply them 24/7. So there was no way they were gonna know anything.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was in shock. He had never imagined the person he loved from so long was finally here, but the purpose why she has here hurt him more than anything. He wasn't afraid to die, he had always managed to run away. But this time it was not the same.  This time it was the only person he ever loved, in front of him, holding a gun to shoot him down.

He went to the hotel, for which he had booked the reservations. It had been 2 days he hadn't eaten anything. He wasn't ready to accept the fact. He didn't want to accept the fact.

He sat down on his bed with his head resting in his hand. 

Why did she do that? Why did she change her name? Why did she create so much pain? Why?!

Millions of questions lingered in his mind, making it impossible for him to sleep. He had always been the one to face heartbreaks. Always. 

He picked up his phone and called Jay, his personal assistant. 

' Jay, book my fight for tonight. I want to reach Vienna by tomorrow.'
' Yes sir.'

He shut the phone and threw it on the other side of the bed. He knew whatever he was doing was wrong, but he wanted an explanation. Explanation of everything. 

As expected, he got a call from Baekhyun. 

' Are you seriously going back to Vienna? After knowing the truth?!'
' Yes, I'm'
' Why taehyung?! You know if you go back there, you will die. And this time you won't be able to run.'
' I'm tired of running anyways. If I'm going to die, I want to see her for the last time and then leave.'
' But-'
' I know its risky for me to go like this. But I have no other option. I want answers from her, and I will get it.'
' If you have made up your mind..... well, your flights in 3 hours. I'll come and pick you up so we can leave together. And I'm coming with you too.'
' No Baek Hyun, you can't come. It's something I've to handle alone. I can't risk your life. Please don't. I don't wanna die with guilt.'
' Taehyung, I can't let you go alone.'
' You have to. These are my orders as your boss. You need to stay back and handle things here.'
' I'll be there within an hour.'
'Yes'

The phone beeped and Taehyung sighed. It was dangerous and he too knew that he wouldn't come back alive, but he wanted to see her. After all, he had loved her. Not for 4 months but since he was a kid. 

He got a missed call from Baekhyun, which meant that he was down there waiting for him. 

In the car, Taehyung received a text from Y/N.

Y/N: Hey baby~ Are you sleeping?
Tae: No, I'm in the car, what bout you?
Y/N: I'm having lunch right now.
Tae: Alright, continue eating I'll talk to you later.
Y/N: nooo don't go. I won't be free at night. I've to clean the house and all.
Tae: umm okay.
Y/N: Are you okay? You sound dull.
Tae: Yeah I'm good.
