3rd Person POV~

"I'm gonna lie down and forget about all of my responsibilities, no force on earth can move me from here." and with that, Ky sunk to the ground, flat on her stomach.

"It's not that bad, mon cheri." Francis sighed, setting down his pencil.

"Speak for yourself man, I'm drowning here." Alfred motioned to his pile of papers, throwing his head back on his chair. He attempted doing his homework, for 30 whole minutes and was therefore rightfully exhausted.

Like Kat had predicted, everyone was greeted with enormous amounts of homework. So, for the past few days they have been camping out in the library and creating makeshift study groups. Ky was especially sick of homework because that's all she had been doing before her bandages were removed. She considered it one of the worst forms of torture, having to sit still for long periods of time, getting especially restless when all she could do was watch from the sidelines as Hungary and Australia practiced for the next swim tournament.

The one thing she didn't mind about her temporary immobility were Diae's constant visits. Ky's hunch about a possible friendship were proven to be correct. Arthur' s participation in their makeshift homework group allowed for constant interaction between the two girls who quickly found a lot of common ground between them, much to the Englishman's dismay. Anime? Of course. Fuzzy animals? Always. MCR, Panic at the Disco, Fallout Boy, Pierce the Veil? Hell yeah.

Adding onto Ky's joy, Diae had been admitted into the academy as the new arts and language teacher (also getting new teachers for all the other subjects Kat taught). The only explanation Kat offered for the sudden step down in school activities was that "it was one of those years". The nations didn't dwell on it too long, after all, it had happened in the past.

"Ky, get off the floor." Arthur said irritably. His hair was more unruly than usual, ruffled up in frustration. On his table was a half empty tea cup that sat ontop of two or three textbooks, many more books littered around him opened to certain pages.

"Don't wanna." Ky pouted. After a few days of non-stop homework, she was ready to go out and entertain herself or just crawl into bed and sleep for a good fifty years or so.

"You won't get anything done if you lie down all day." Yao reminded.

"But what's with all this work? Seriously, we miss a couple of school days and it's like the cure for cancer has been created, Waldo was found, robots took over, the second coming of Jesus happened and the fire nation attacked." she said, exaggerating maybe just a little bit.

"That was exaggerated to hell." Lovino observed.

"Hey, I don't see you doing anything either." she pointed out to the Italian who had his legs kicked up on the table, lazily twirling his pencil between his fingers, his stack of homework sat piled near him almost untouched. He merely shrugged in response.

"All-a done!" Feliciano announced.

"Jou actually finished all of jour vork?!" Ludwig asked genuinely surprised or impressed, probably both. He himself was surrounded by textbooks and a few strands of blond hair had come undone from his usual sleeked back hair.

"No~ I finished my-a paper flowers! Do you like them?" he asked brightly, holding up a bouquet of colorful flowers.

"Zhat's vhat jou have been doing all zhis time?!"

"Hey Vest, look, I made a paper jou!" Gilbert said proudly, holding up what use to be his English homework.

"Not jou too!" Ludwig groaned, batting his brother's hand out of his face.
