1. I know Martha Remington gets tons of hate, and I used to hate on her, too. Because, honestly, what a bitch! She left Leo, left Emma/Lisa, for Freddy, who was how fucking old? Judging by Leo's age? Probably way younger than her!

But, Freddy never really did love her at the start, did he? He seduced her in order to profit off of Leo. He has a silver-tongue (he's a fucking lawyer), and he manipulated her. She even had a kid with him! That kid's name was Annecy.

Annecy never got to be born because a) Remington was going to have her until she decided to have an abortion and b) Emily fucked up and killed Remington while trying to perform said abortion, killing the kid as well.

I was rereading Freddy's 2020 birthday letter on the wiki. Martha had trusted Freddy with Leo and Lisa's life, and he had lied to her. After reading about her ex-husband's death and the sending of her daughter to an asylum, she snapped. What did she snap? She snapped the fuck out of it. She realised Freddy was lying to her too much, she realised he was manipulating her, and she realised that even though there wasn't much she could do she had to at least try to become a better person and repent for her mistakes.

She was going to take her unborn child, return to Lisa's side, and raise them both as a single mother, while living in the late 1800s, because she realised just how bad Freddy was for her life. She wanted to break off from him, and for Lisa and Annecy to live an honest and happy life.

And that right there, my friends?

That's a boss-ass motherfucking MVP right there.

She is stronger than many people even nowadays, who can't acknowledge when they need to move on or when someone is bad for them. She is a fucking icon, and she is being hated and slept on because of the simple fact that she ran away with Freddy Riley. And up until then, that was all the lore we had on her.

But then, the letter that was released on Freddy's birthday happened. And people still kept hating her. Why? Because for so long, it has been imprinted in our minds either "Who is Martha Remington?" or "How could she leave Leo and Emma behind, she's such a terrible person!". No one really read between the lines and said, "Wow, she really did realise that she was a pawn and fucking dumped his ass. What a legend!"

If people can stan Freddy and ignore that he is a manipulative piece of shit, a lying piece of shit, and a total piece of shit in total, why can't more people remember and acknowledge the fact that Martha Remington is strong and, in the end, did what she believed (and WAS) right?

In any case, this is my way of saying:

From this day forward, no matter how minor a character Martha Remington is to the game, I will fucking STAN her to death!

Unless, of course, something else shitty comes up on Remington.

2. So, uh, y'all know how Orpheus is the 'protagonist' of sorts, because we're basically playing the game through his 'deductions'?

And, how the character's OG skins are how they actually looked in the real 'games'?

And how when we're playing the games, that's really just Orpheus trying to do deductions?

And how we can play with skins?

And how Orpheus can't break the fourth wall, meaning canonically, IdV is implying that Orpheus came up with the skins in his imagination?
