And so, the big day finally arrived. The Thronecoming Bookball Championship!Big day? No. The big day is the Thronecoming dance.
Uh, football game.
Thronecoming dance.
"Cool it, you two-de-doo! The game is about to start!" Maddie scolded the two narrators.
I forgot she could hear us
"Go, Dexter! You can do it!" Elise shouted loudly for her boyfriend to hear, which he did. He smiled and waved at her.
"Okay, now is the perfect time to go looking for the book." Raven whispered to Elise, Maddie, and Apple. "Wait a spell. Let's grab Cedar!" Maddie suggested.
"Right! Her revealer rays can help us in our finding!" Elise said, realizing Maddie's idea. Raven tapped Cedar on the shoulder. "Huh?"
The five walked past Ashlynn and Briar. "Where are they going?" Ashlynn wondered. "I don't know." Briar pulled her along to follow them.
—
The five then reached Heritage Hall, their destination.
"So, you think the real Storybook of Legends is hidden in here?" Raven asked Maddie and looked at the paper she was carrying.
"This is where the clue leads! Where the stories of the past come alive, revive, and thrive! See anything, Cedar?" Maddie read the paper and looked towards Cedar.
Cedar scanned the hall, "Hmm. No, just a– Wait a splinter! I think the Storybook of Legends is inside the Storybook of Legends." She told and they walked up to the giant book.
Raven and Apple tried opening it but to no avail, it didn't. "It just won't budge." Apple exhaled, tired from pulling.
"So, what do we do?" Elise asked
"How about, I give it a try?" They turned towards the voice and saw Blondie. "Blondie!" Maddie yelled.
"Were you spying on us?" Apple gasped to which Blondie answered, "A good reporter always knows where the story is. And if it is a lock you need to get pass, well, that is kind of my thing." She pulled out a bobby pin and inserted it to the lock. And then a portal appeared.
"Wicked. I wonder if we're supposed to—" Raven got interrupted.
"Raven!" It was Ashlynn and Briar
"Okay, did everyone and their fairy godmother follow us here?" Raven asked, to which another voice answered. "Well, I didn't follow you, but I got bored at the game so I thought I'd come check this place out." This time, it was Cupid, who was at the top of the book. "What are you all doing here?"
"We're trying to find the real Storybook of Legends, so that Raven and Elise can sign." Apple explained but Briar objected. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that."
"Briar?" Apple breathed out
"If you find the real book, that means I'm going to lose you all."
"Briar, I'm the same. I don't want to sign but it may affect our stories as well." Elise told her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Briar, maybe we can find another way— Raven, no!" Elise was cut of by Raven sprinting to the portal. She followed after her as well, worried about her friend.
"I'm sorry, Briar." Apple then went. Soon, all of them are going inside the portal. Briar was still hesitant, but Ashlynn held her hand and they both went together to the portal.
All of them were now falling to a place that has 9 giant books in it. "Whoa, what is this place?" Cupid wondered, looking at the place.
"I think we're inside the book." Apple answered her.
