EVERY MEMBER OF THE HOUSE WAS NOW GATHERED IN THE MAIN LOUNGE OF THE HOUSE. josh, bryce and griffin we're all sat on one couch while anthony, quinton and kio were on another. that left lavender and jaden to be sat together on a bean bag which josh very clearly wasn't very happy about due to the sheer annoyance shown on his face at the fact the duo were sat next to each other. "okay!" griffin clapped once everyone was in the room even though he wasn't the one who asked for everyone to be in the lounge in the first place, he felt a need to take charge because he was the oldest well that and the fact that josh hadn't spoken since lavender and jaden walked in the room together.

"uh why are we in here?" bryce queered raising an eyebrow. jaden and lavender had been dating officially between the two for almost a month now and nobody in the house had found out. the duo planned on posting about it to social media soon but wanted to tell the boys first. they'd spoken about announcing their relationship a few times but lavender was scared how josh would react to the whole scenario. the girl could vividly remember josh telling her she was not allowed to date any of his friends because he wouldn't want to deal with the heartbreak scenario of it all.

lavender didn't know that jaden had asked josh for permission so she was thinking about the worst for this whole situation. would he kick her out? forbid her from seeing jaden anymore? she really did lo- like jaden more than she had anyone before but not knowing how josh would react gave her an extremely unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"i just wanted to ask lavender and jaden a question." josh was the first to speak shocking the majority of the room. specifically lavender and jaden whose heads both turned to the oldest richards in slight shock and confusion

"uh yeah what's up?"

"everything okay?"

griffin and bryce shared a confused glance upon hearing the slight hint of anxiousness in the two's voices. surely they were fine because they had nothing to hide right? "i was just uh wondering when you guys were going to announce your relationship to the public?"
that was enough for everyone to go insane. anthony choked on pure air, quinton choked on his glass of water, griffin fell off of the couch as did kio and bryce screamed. lavender just sat there with a wide open mouth. surely the couple hadn't been caught right? they were so careful with making sure nobody saw them when they were cuddling or sharing small kisses and stuff.

"uh what are you talking about?" the blonde tried to play it off looking at josh with an incredulous look and confusion laced in her eyes . "lav come on." josh laughed leaning back into the couch "you really thought i didn't know?" he asked as the other sway boys shared their attention between the two siblings "i mean.... yeah." lavender awkwardly smiled at her brother.

"lav the two of you are constantly together, you have like a million pictures together. besides i've seen you two cuddling in the evenings and watching movies together. i've seen you two kiss and jaden asked me for approval before he asked you out." the boy explained as his sister hung her head low. "sorry for not telling you straight up." she mumbled. by now the boys had all retreated through to the kitchen of the house to give the siblings space for a moment.

"lav i don't care." josh laughed making lavender's head shoot up to her brother who sat up from the couch and began making his way over to the bean bag his sister was on. "as long as you are happy i couldn't care less who you're dating." josh smiled "but if that blonde asshole over there ever hurts you i will kill him." the richards smiled as lavender rolled her eyes bringing her brother into a hug.

"thank you." she muttered into his shoulder "and no offence but you are actually built like a chopstick and you don't stand a chance against jaden in a fight but thank you nonetheless." the blonde laughed as josh pulled away from their hug placing a hand on his heart in fake offence letting out a loud gasp. "my heart buddy!" he smiled through the action nonetheless calling all the boys back into the lounge and letting them know that nobody was about to fight and everything was okay.

"so are you gonna post now or....." bryce queered after a moment of silence making everyone laugh unintentionally. "wait what's so funny?"

"guys what's so funny?"
