026 - NARRATIVE AND INSTAGRAM

WONDERING

THE BOYS WERE FINALLY COMING BACK FROM THEIR TRIP TO TEXAS. usually this kind of scenario would put a large smile on lavenders face but today that wasn't the case. no she had found out her boyfriend cheated on her, over instagram and tik tok. and so lavender didn't bother that morning when she woke up to look all nice and fancy. she threw on a pair of sweatpants and made sure she was wearing one of bryce's hoodies rather than jaden's.

anthony had come home a few days before the boys and as soon as he walked in the house he'd brought lavender into a hug as she broke down sobbing for surprisingly the first time since the news was broken to her. the girl had managed to stay off of social media for the time being only texting the girls groupchat as well as bryce and her brother.

the worst part was that jaden hadn't even thought of texting her, did he know the post was on tik tok room? probably. but he hadn't made an effort to text her about it. did he forget she could see it?

there were so so many thoughts racing through lavenders head. many negative ones of her thinking she wasn't good enough for jaden or wondering if she did something wrong. if maybe he was forced into it and he didn't mean for it to happen. but no matter how many scenarios played throughout her head there was always one inevitable ending.......

they were gonna break up.

it was around 5 o'clock when there was a loud knock on the door of the sway house. lavender paused her netflix show sharing a look with kio and anthony who both sent her supporting smiles as they got off of the couch and made their way to the front of the house.

anthony opened the door and the first thing that happened was bryce and josh making a b line straight over to lavender, who was stood a fair few feet away from the door. the two boys ran straight over to her basically squashing her in a hug mumbling so many sorrys in her ear even though it wasn't their fault.

the next people through the door were griffin and quinton who weren't too sure on the situation but griffin was more aware than quinton was. he walked over to lavender giving her a small hug and telling her he would be right there if he needed her which the blonde greatly appreciated.

quinton gave her a small side hug rubbing her arm, he wasn't too caught up in the drama apart from his small problem that he had been seen with another girl when talking to cynthia and now everyone was on his ass about it so he had to sort that out.

last person inside was the man of the hour himself jaden hossler. lavenders breathing hitched in her throat as he shut the door behind him, griffins words ringing through out her head as she made eye contact with him begging him to stay near her with just simple eye communication. griffin of course, being the nice guy that he is immediately got the memo and nodded his head as he stayed in the corner of the room.

"hey baby." the boy smiled running over to his girlfriend hugging her tightly as he went in for a kiss but she dodged it making jaden raise an eyebrow. "um can we talk?" lavender mumbled playing with her fingers and refusing eye contact which made jaden really suspicious but he didn't think anything of it.

the rest of the sway boys got the hint moving out of the entry way and making their way to the kitchen, griffin kept the look in his mind as he began to walk away until jaden turned around and he slotted himself behind a door close enough so that he could see what was happening but jaden couldn't see him.
