Chapter 8- School fight

We got back to City 14 and Bailee and Abby asked what happened and we explained everything. "Harlin is going to see what's going to happen," I said. Dustin wanted to help me end Harlin's life and maybe Logan if he tries to kill me. I bring Valorie's car back and she didn't notice. The next day we all had to go back to school and this time Harlin was there. It was a break, and Harlin and I had not yet spoken. Harlin was alone in the canteen and I decided to go to him alone.

I grabbed hum by the collar of his shirt and pushed him onto the table. "I thought I could trust you," I said. "Do what you have to do Caleb," he said. I punched him in the face a few times but Harlin kept shouting "Beat harder than or can't you". His comments pissed me off so I grabbed the knife next to his plate and tried to stab him but before I could, Dustin pulled me away. "You don't want to look like him, do you? you're not like that but Harlin is like that so keep yourself in check, "said Dustin. The teachers at school never intervene when the students are fighting because they don't care much. They are only at school to teach us and they don't do much else. Harlin had developed a nosebleed and a blood lip, but he pretended nothing had happened and just continued to eat. Dustin and I sat down at the table with Bailee and Abby again. "I always thought he was weird," said Bailee, and we laughed. I didn't know if Harlin and Logan were still in touch with each other, but if they do, they are life-threatening.
