                                                  [Jackie's POV]

As Jackie fell to the ground, she saw a flash of blue. An electric blue. From the girls eye...

"Ow," Jackie muttered as her ass hit the ground. Jordan fell with her, eyes wide, staring at her. Then she felt a whoosh of wind and touched her hair. Her hood has fallen back. She looked around, and only a few people really, saw, but they started making a racket, trying to get to her.

"Shit. Shit. Jorden, we gotta get out of here," Jackie said, but Jorden was staring at the girl that bumped into them. He was wide-eyed and looked... scared?

The girl was staring as well, but quickly looked around and swore under her breath. Jackie realized that more people had found out that it was her, and started to panic. She didn't know her way around the town. She had no clue where to go to hide.

But the girl in front of them did. Jackie was about to ask for assistance, but the girl grabbed Jackie's hand and pulled her up. Jorden got up with her, though to one helped him, "You need to hide. Follow me," The girl pulled on Jackie's hand, ready to run. Jackie didn't know who this was, what she wanted, and what she would do, but at the moment, she didn't care. She grabbed Jordan's hand and nodded.

Jordan hesitated. He knew who that girl was. He had studied her family. Did Jackie really not realize who that was? Jordan knew they shouldn't go, but Jackie looked determined. He sighed but nodded back.

 Jackie smiled, "Okay."

The girl pulled them through the crowd, dodging, and weaving through the mass of people. Jackie was breathing heavily as they made it to the closest exit, dashing through the ally. The girl that was leading them kept going until they stopped in front of a tavern, "I have a friend here, wait behind that trash," The girl nodded to a section of trash bags.

Before Jackie could agree, Jordan spoke up, trying to act refined, "Do you know who we are? We are royalty. We shall not hide behind trash like-"

The girl in from of them cut him off, "And I'm telling you now, that if you don't want to be seen by even more people than I'd advise you to listen to someone that could easily turn you in. Get behind the fucking trash bags."

Jordan shut his mouth and nodded, while Jackie gapped in awe. No one ever stands up for themselves in front of the powerful, but this girl seemed unafraid... like she had nothing left to lose. Jackie walked with Jordan to the trash and ducked behind the black bags.

Humanity had come so far with technology these past 300 hundred years or so, but the collapse of our civilization was indefinite. We fell far, and though we still have our scientists and our power, everything else has been set back hundreds of years. The inequality, the monarchy. Everything is worse than it was. There wasn't even a big war. It was just pure... chaos.

They hid as the girl walked inside, to meet her friend, Jackie assumed. Jackie imagined this person a big scary tough guy, tattoos running down his arms, and his big muscular body shining - what they got was a woman who fit that description. She had red hair and toned muscles. She looked like she could be a wrestler if she wanted too. She had the tattoos as well.

 She was scary.

"Come on out now, nothin' to be afraid of, loves," The woman had a faint British accent, something not many people had in nowadays civilization.

Jordan and Jackie got up from behind the trash cans and walked over to the woman. The girl was leaning against the wall, smoking. She looked about their age, why was she smoking? Jackie thought.
