The morning after their little activity, Senkū and Y/N did not talk much to each other in embarrassment especially when Gen was teasing them about how loud they were.

"G-Gen, s-stop!"

"Oh~ Senkū~ GAH!"

The said man hit Gen's head in frustration, a swollen bulge forming.

"Y-Y/N, just... ignore him."

"A-Alright."

He scratched his head as she fiddled with her fingers, not looking at each other. After finding the rare tungsten stones, the villagers were cracking their minds to get it out of the stones. Out of the blue, Magma started smashing the stones, startling everyone. Kohaku screamed,

"NWAAAAH!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, MAGMA?!"

"Well, it's fine. We'll need em' smashed up at some point, anyway."

Senkū sweatdropped at Magma's brute force as Ginro shivered in fear. In just a few minutes, the stone was now fine and powdery. Y/N lifted the powder,

"I think it's fine enough..."

"Science 'em like this and that, and turn 'em into something like toothpaste. Basically, we have to remove impurities from the toothpaste with hydrogen and then we heat it up in a glass container, and we're done!"

Somehow, Chrome was taking charge of trying to heat up only the tungsten inside its glass container without overheating the glass. It was a tough job but they knew he trusted Chrome.

"Alright, I need you, modern folks."

He grabbed both Gen and Y/N, dragging them into the science lab. He pulls out some substances as he explains to the two,

"We simmer the blue jewels in sodium hydroxide, then crystallize them in a mizture of shells, hydrochloric acid, and ammonia, then finally we heat it, and mix it with honey!!"

"Okaaaay... I totally understand, Senkū. Honey! We cook it with honey! That's all I go..."

Gen was definitely the type that did not pay attention in class. Y/N shook her head in disbelief,

"Don't worry. I got it all in my head and will keep track of this idiotic mentalist."

Senkū smiles, patting her head, and ruffling her hair. Gen scoffed,

"Can you guys flirt somewhere else?"

The two stopped, going to opposite sides of the room. Senkū takes out the necessary materials and the three of them started working on the toothpaste. The sun had set and Gen was already on the ground due to exhaustion.

"Nice! We did it! Tungsten toothpaste!!"

Senkū walked out, followed by Gen and Y/N, to check out Chrome's heating device. Their eyes widened at how complicated it looked. Chrome was pretty proud at what he had made.

"What's with this all-in-one set?!"

"You said it yourself, Senkū! You told me to 'use everything'!"

"This is NOT what I meant!! It's freakin' hideous..."

Without any prior knowledge from the modern world, Y/N was no doubt impressed by Chrome's abilities despite it looking quite complicated. The heating team worked together, using the tungsten toothpaste and heating it up. After all hard work, just a few centimeters long, the most heat-resistant metal filament was made. Kohaku, excited with the achievement, exclaimed,

"Great! So we can finally make that cellphone thingy, right?!"

"Yeah, we've got all the materials! This is the final hurdle. To give you a rough idea... The heart of the cellphone is the vacuum tube, the cellphone's skeletone is made of plastic, and the cellphone's veins are made of gold wiring! Gather these body parts, and the main unit of the cellphone will be complete!"

Chrome and Kaseki were pumped up after hearing that all materials were acquired. Senkū squinted his eyes at Kaseki,

"So... About that... we're going to need some glasswork that's just a little bit complex. I'm not even sure that old man Kaseki can handle it..."

"Despite my age, haven't I suprised you in the past with my deft craftsmanship in these so-called demonically difficult projects? Come now, let's have a look at the blueprints."

The old man's eyes bulged out, shocked at the complicated blueprint. He was in shambled, not sure if he can achieve it. However, Gen went to Kaseki to tell him sweet things, firing the old man up. Upon seeing him fired up, the village had a boost in energy. Suika had the kids' team do the wires, Gen helped Kaseki while Chrome helped Senkū. Y/N noticed that people's hands were shaking due to the cold winter and she entered the shed Senkū was in—stunned by him scaring Chrome with the formula in his hand.

"Oh, what do you need, Y/N?"

"Well... everyone is working hard but I think that the cold weather is affecting how fast their hands can move."

The two males looked at each other and smirked, rushing out to make something. They installed each hut with stoves that act as a heater at the same time. Children flocked into the huts while Y/N helped the older folks to cook. The elderly lady smiled at the younger who was helping out, seemingly impressed by her knife skills. She put together any available food, making a large pot of stew to feed everyone. The children were drooling at the smell, eyes sparkling at the new stomach-growling smell that flooded the hut. Y/N made sure that the children and elderly were taken care of, warmth and food to begin with. Suika munched on the stew, amazed by the taste.

"It's better than Senkū's ramen!"

"Ramen?"

"Yeah! He made it and it was really good but this is better!"

"I wonder how bad it was... Senkū was not born to be a chef. There was one time he nearly burnt down the kitchen because he was too busy fighting with his old man on what to have for dinner!"

"S-So you must be the modern-day chef, right?"

"Well, not a chef but I assume that my cooking is a hundred times better than his."

"Definitely! I hope we get to taste more delicious food..."

"I'll keep that in mind."

Y/N helped out with the gold wires and another day was gone. From outside, they heard screams.

"The main unit of the cellphone is complete!!"
