Chapter 11: The start of the war!

Chrome leaned against the ceiling, hearing some mumbling going on on the floor above. Gen snickered,

"A quick quiz for ya! The topic is the Tsukasa Empire's secret~ What is the unifying element... Around which everything else in the empire revolves~?

"Kukuku~ It's Tsukasa himself, isn't it?"

"Ding, Ding, Ding~ Ten billion points for you! What with Tsukasa being the 'strongest primate high-schooler' and all, he's had that celebrity charism from the start... In other words, to sow discord amongst the enemy forces, we just have to use the amazing charisma... of a celebrity who wouldn't lose to Tsukasa! Hi! I'm Lilian Weinberg!!!"

Both Senkū and Y/N choked on their saliva at Gen's amazing impression.

"Oh my goodness, you sound so much like her!"

"Well, clearly, I'm forcing myself."

"But your voice is a little bit hoarse to be like her voice..."

"Y/N, who in this room is a female and has a female voice?"

"M-Me?"

"Exactly. Senkū, wouldn't it be more convincing if Y/N does it instead of me? I'd train her but her soft voice is already promising."

Senkū beamed in excitement.

"I mean, yeah, we can do that but... why not use the raw singing voice through the receiver? Then we could use the song on the record as our ID!"

"They would have no choice but to conclude that... on the other end of the phone, The Diva Lilian is alive! Y/N, if I were to train you properly, imagine the fear Tsukasa would feel!"

"Okay, got it. The details can come later, but let's go with that!"

"THAT'S ALL FROM YOU?! C'MON MAN!!"

Out of a sudden, Chrome's headshot through, accidentally bumping into Y/N's butt which sent her flying face towards the floor.

"OKAY, GOT IT, NOT!! I'M NOT GETTING A DAMN THING HERE!"

The males glared at him while she went silent from embarrassment. As Senkū and Chrome went to fix the broken floor, Chrome with some bruises on his face from being beaten up by Y/N, Senkū explained to him the plan.

"We hand over the cell phone to Taiju's group, then they will stealthily make Tsukasa's army listen to it, we play Lilian's song, and Y/N imitates Lilian's voice to fool them! The majority of Tsukasa's army changes sides, and takes orders from us through the phone, we can gain control in one shot. Without shedding a single drop of blood!"

When morning came, Senkū assigned roles to villagers. Gen will be the guide and insider, Magma will be the transport, and Chrome will be the engineer. Y/N squinted her eyes as she scratched her chin,

"But... If we were to hand over the cellphone to Taiju's spy team, won't Homura know about it? She's surveilling us for the Tsukasa Empire."

"Kukuku! It won't be a big problem. We'll draw Homura in the opposite direction with a shocking and surprising scientific item. At that moment, the real team will depart!"

Senkū sets out a small experiment set-up, connecting some random wires and adding 'scientific item's. None of the villagers understood what he was doing, even his explanation was confusing Y/N and Gen. He looks towards Kinro and smirks,

"I'll just need something like a balloon... A deer bladder?"

With just that and a glint in Kinro's glasses, he rushes off to grab a deer and take out the bladder. He rinses it and passes the organ to Senkū. The bladder is then filled with what Senkū calls 'detonating gas' that will make a loud sound with little damage—in other words, sound bombs. As the villagers hid underneath snow blankets, planting the bombs in random spots, Ginro smirks next to Senkū with the pump that will make the bombs explode.
