Chapter 7: Shopping

I had my arms crossed as we made it back to his office so he could grab his cane as well as his scroll. He watched me as I pouted. He heard the elevator stop and opened the doors. I walked out quickly and to the other elevator while waiting for Ozpin to get his stuff. He stopped before looking at his scroll and giving a slight saddened look. I noticed this before walking up to him. "Ozpin? What's wrong?" I asked before placing hand on his. "A dear friend of mine sent a message to me... quite unfortunate that a huntress that was close to us got severely injured." He replied before closing his scroll. "Anyways, let's get going." He said before placing his scroll in his pant pocket before making his way toward the elevator. "So, while this is your day to get clothing and such. I want you to take your time while looking. Do not worry about prices." Ozpin said before opening the elevator. I nodded before walking into the elevator as they opened. I shivered as the cold air came over my body. "Damn, I should have asked for a nice comfy sweatshirt..." Ozpin sighed before smiling. "Here, go back into the CCT tower. And wait at one of the benches. I'll be back quickly." Ozpin said before turning on his heel and taking his leave. He was gone before I could say anything. I heard my name get called and saw Elizabeth. "Oh hey Elizabeth. How was classes?" Elizabeth stopped in front of me. "Oh boring as usual. It was Professor Port, he tends to get too far into stories and they're quite boring." I nodded. "I never met him yet... Professor Ozpin hasn't shown me to the other teachers. The only ones I know are Oobleck and Goodwitch." I responded before shivering a bit. "You look cold. Is that all you wear? Also, where is the headmaster? He's normally glued to your side." I chuckled softly. "Yes, I'm quite cold and he went back into the CCT to get something I guess." I held my hands on my upper arms before rubbing them up and down to try to get warmth. Elizabeth chuckled before grabbing my hand and leading me into the CCT. "Cause I know Ozpin would be quite upset if he figured you'd get sick." I laughed and nodded. "Yes, he does seem like a person who'd be greatly overprotective." I heard a psh and looked at Elizabeth. "Please, after seeing him flip the students. I was in utter shock. Me and Dani couldn't find words for the whole day after what we witnessed." We both laughed before stopping. "So what year are you in?" Elizabeth smiled brightly. "Ah, my fourth year. I'm graduating this year. Sadly though, I just met you and you seem like an amazing person!" Elizabeth said before closing her eyes and smiling. I blushed at her compliment. "Ah, thank you." Elizabeth nodded before looking at me. "Oh that reminds me. Do you have a scroll?" I shook my head no. "No not yet. I asked Professor Ozpin about it, and he said for the new students that are arriving that he'd get me one as well. Though I know it's the main thing for communication. So I'm not sure why he hasn't even bothered to get me one yet." I sighed before sulking my body. Elizabeth chuckled. "Well, speak of the devil he's here. Well have to go, have fun with whatever fun activities you both have planned!" Elizabeth said before winking at me before heading outside. I waved before looking at Ozpin.

"Ah, having a chat with Miss Green I see." Ozpin said before handing me what he was holding. I grabbed it before unraveling it as it was folded. I saw it was a dark green jacket. "Aw, Oz, you didn't have to. But thank you." I said happily before putting it on. Ozpin smiled as he saw me in it. "Well, can't have you getting sick on me now. We have lots to do. And I'd be quite upset, I'd blame myself as I didn't provide you with clothing suitable for the weather." I chuckled as that's what me and Elizabeth was talking about. "Yeah, well that's why we're going." I said before looking down. "It's a bit big but it'll do." I said before looking at Ozpin. "It's perfect. You look good in it." He said before quickly kissing me on the cheek. I blushed before grabbing his hand as we both left the CCT and back into the cold. "God Oz, this jacket is super comfy." I said not feeling that cold anymore. "Good. You can keep it." Ozpin replied before looking around the front of the courtyard. "You know. I will be 'borrowing' a lot of your clothes." I rested my head against his shoulder. "Yeah, but I don't mind." He said smiling brightly. This is the most happiness he felt with somebody. Especially one of his significant other.
