Chapter 17: Valentine's Day Part 2

Once we entered his room we both went to the bed and sat down. "Ozpin, this is our first holiday together." I moved closer to him on the bed. Ozpin watched me before nodding, "It is my dear." I giggled before kissing Ozpin on the cheek. "I love you a lot!" I said before sitting on my heels. Ozpin chuckled before grabbing his candy and giving me one. "I love you even more." I gladly took the chocolate and soon looked at my scroll that was in my hand. "So-" I started before finishing the chocolate. "Can you help me set this up." Ozpin popped a chocolate in his mouth before nodding. "Yeah, open it up." I did so while he grabbed out his own scroll. "It should open up and ask for your name and other personal information." Ozpin said before I saw it pop up. It started with my name first. I typed it in while it and the screen changed to my birthday. It soon changed to face scan. I raised my eyebrow at Oz. "The scan will recognize your face and soon be able to monitor your aura level." Ozpin explained before eating another chocolate. I giggled before scanning my face in which it showed my aura. "Hmm, interesting, so that's how much aura I have left?" I asked pointing at the bar. It was currently green right now. Ozpin nodded, "Yes, as I explained the little bar right there, if your aura is passed that it'll be in the red and would be eliminated from tournament battles." Ozpin said in which I nodded. "Go ahead and head into your contacts. I'll have you add my contact and Glynda's and I'll show you how to keep it when you first open your contacts. Cause it will be important." Ozpin said in which I clicked around and found the contact app. Ozpin handed his scroll to me. "Go to the plus sign and type in new contact and then it'll ask how do you want to add. Do the ID number and type in the number here. I nodded and did as he told me before I heard him get off the bed and toward the bathroom.

Once I got his ID number all inserted in it automatically popped up with Ozpin's contact. 'Wow. So it recognizes the numbers...' I thought before hitting the yes. I looked at Ozpin's scroll and saw it popped up saying a new contact was added. I heard Ozpin come out of the bathroom in which I looked at him. "It's all done Oz." He nodded and sat down on the bed before grabbing his scroll. He soon went to his contacts and quickly accepted me.
I heard my scroll buzz and soon I saw that he has accepted me. "Hey Oz? How can I change your name?" I asked looking at him. Ozpin leaned back before heading to his contact and hitting 'edit' at the top right corner and soon it popped up. "Thank you." I said before changing his name to "Sweetheart Oz." he saw it and smiled before kissing me. "Well, now it's Glynda's contact. But, we can do that when we are with her." Ozpin said before moving over and laying on the bed soon yawning a bit. I looked over at him, "Tired?" I asked before moving to him. I saw Ozpin nod before looking at me with a tired expression. "Yeah, a bit. Want to take a nap?" He asked before I nodded happily before laying down next to him. Ozpin wrapped his arm around me  as he hit the button on his scroll to turn off the light. I moved on my side before wrapping my right arm around his chest. I felt the blanket come over my body and I soon shivered a bit but relaxed. "Love you." I said quietly in which I felt Ozpin kiss me. "Love you too Jade." He whispered before falling asleep.

I stirred in my sleep as I heard shaking and slight groans. I opened my eyes as my stomach dropped upon hearing it. I looked at Ozpin who I could tell had a painful face. I gasped before quickly going to him. "Ozpin, Ozpin! Wake up!" I said trying to hopefully either have him wake up or relax in his sleep. He mumbled something in which I couldn't hear, yet soon I saw a tear escape from his eye. "Oh Oz..." I sighed before caressing his cheek. "Ozpin! Please, wake up, I'm here, I'm here Oz... I'm safe... it's okay, we're at Beacon." I said to him as I watched as he relaxed and soon his eyes slowly opened. More tears escaped his eyes as he saw me. "I.." he started before moving his hand to caress my cheek. "Your... here..." he whispered in which I nodded as I moved my hand to his face. "Yes, I'm here Ozpin, I'll always be here. I'm not going anywhere. I promise." I slowly got closer to him before leaning my face down to his. I kissed his cheek, then his lips. I looked at him. "Oz... do you want to talk about it?" I asked before he nodded slowly. "I should, shouldn't I." My eyes softened as he sat up. "Only if you want to." I said before grabbing Ozpin's chocolates. Ozpin only sighed as he wiped his eyes. "I do. Cause I was told to. And I don't think I can keep the truth hidden from you any longer." Ozpin said before massaging his temples. I only nodded before opening one of his chocolates. "Here." I said before holding it in front of him. Ozpin smiled and took it while he almost bit my finger. "Hey, watch the fingers." I said before ruffling his hair. I heard him chuckle before taking a sigh. "It's up to you where you want to start Oz. Just know I'm here to listen." Ozpin nodded as he thought. "Well, I told you I'd wait until your older, but I think it's time, to tell you everything about me."  Ozpin looked at me with sadness in his eyes.

A/N: This chapter is a lot more shorter. I was going to make it longer, but I wasn't sure what else to do. So, yeah, anyways, I will post the next chapter hopefully later today as it's all lore dump about Oz lol.
