Chapter 15: Shopping for Each Other

I noticed Ozpin staring at me for quite awhile. "Yes Oz?" I asked and soon he blinked. "Oh, sorry! Just thought of something quite important." Ozpin replied before grabbing my hand. "Here let's go to the gardens." He smiled at me and led the way. I raised a brow at the sudden change in him, but nonetheless followed him. We got to the gardens and sat down on a bench. Ozpin wrapped an arm around me, I laid my head on his chest before hearing him speak. "Jade, if you could have one thing in the world, right now. What would it be?" Ozpin's questioned, soon I blinked at the sudden question. 'Jeez right now... that's a random and hard question...' I thought about it before looking at him. "It's already here." I said and Ozpin's gaze meant mine. "What do you mean?" I chuckled at Ozpin's confusion. I sat up more before cupping Ozpin's cheeks. "Oz, your the only thing I want. Nothing else matters. Your my happiness in the darkest days, and you will continue until I leave.
Your the only family I wanted, and soon I want our family to grow. But, you've helped me realize true love. Someone who cares for me, someone who wants to be by my side and will take the hit for me while I run. Nothing in this world matters more. Because you are my world." I smiled softly before moving my hand to his shoulder and kissing him on the lips. Ozpin blinked at the response, he was entirely surprised. He returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist. I soon had broken from our kiss. "Ozpin, I love you so much." I smiled before leaning my head against his. Ozpin's eyes softened, "I love you too Jade."

We stayed in the gardens for an hour to talk more about each other. Ozpin had many questions he wanted to ask, yet it was hard since he didn't want to give it away of what he was trying to learn from me. "Hey Jade, if I were to give you something for your birthday, or Christmas, what would you want?" Ozpin said as he played with my hair. "Hmmm....you've been asking quite weird questions Oz. But, I don't know, in all honesty." I said before thinking about it more. "I've never tried any before, but candy.... I also want to get into reading. I know their is a lot of fairy tales. And I'd be interested to get into some." I soon moved my body so my head was laying on Oz's lap. He blushed but nonetheless continued to play with my hair. "I see. Have you heard of any of them? The fairy tales I mean." Ozpin said quietly. I closed my eyes, thinking. "I've heard of the names, just not the story itself. But for what I can remember is the Man with souls? Or something along those lines." Ozpin chuckled softly, "The Man with Two Souls." I nodded and opened my eyes to look at him. "Do you believe that the fairy tales are real?" I asked and seeing him nod. "I would think some are true. Just not all of them." Ozpin replied before moving his hand over my forehead and moving my bangs. I giggled before moving over so I was facing his body. Ozpin felt his cheeks start burning. 'Damn... sometimes I think I know what she's doing....' Ozpin thought and tried to make his blush go away before she would notice. Soon I looked up at him before booping his nose. "Booooooooop." I said before laughing. In soon Ozpin did the same. "Your so goofy Jade." Ozpin whispered before leaning his body against the back of the bench. "Am I?" I asked before looking at him more. "Oz? Are you tired?" I asked in which he looked down. "A bit yes. Why?" I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know, you just seem more tired as of late. Even if your not working." I said before drawing circles on his thigh. Ozpin hummed as he watched me. "So how's your day going?" I piped up after a bit of silence. "Hmm, it's going good. How about you?" Ozpin asked as he moved his leg a bit. I moved a bit to get more comfortable. "It's okay. Crazy to think that I'm getting used to my aura and semblance. I'm slowly improving." I said before remembering of what my friends said. "Oh! That reminds me! Dani suggested I asked you if my semblance would work on Grimm, and also hide footprints. Snow is still on the ground, so.. we can figure it out." I said before I saw him think. "Hmm, i would have to watch you. But it would definitely be risky. Especially around Grimm. If it does indeed work, I can probably guarantee that others that are under your semblance will be able to keep hidden from them as well." Ozpin said before looking up at the tower. "As for the snow, we can do that now if you wish." I nodded before lifting up and feeling lightheaded. I grabbed my head before groaning. Ozpin quickly placed a hand on my back. "Are you alright?" He asked worried before I nodded. "Yeah... I'm good...I think I got up too fast." Ozpin sighed of relief before getting up himself. "Alright, here take my hand." I looked up and took his hand before he led me to where a lot of snow was. "I also wonder if you could hear me? I think we should try that as well." Ozpin nodded before letting my hand go. "Well, go ahead and turn invisible, call my name, then I can say if I heard you. If I don't hear anything then I'll say something." I nodded at what Oz told me to do before I focused. I felt my body go light and I soon called his name. "Ozpin? Can you hear me?" I asked out loud before seeing Ozpin nod. "Yes, I hear you my dear." I smiled before walking toward the snow, I looked down and didn't see any footprints. "How about the snow? Do you see any prints?" I asked out loud  and I saw Ozpin take a look. "No, I don't see any. Interesting. Alright come back to me." Ozpin instructed before I did so. I felt my body return and soon I hugged him. "Can we go cuddle in your bed?" I asked before moving my body back and forth. I heard Ozpin chuckle. "Yes, we can." Ozpin honestly didn't feel like going toward the elevator. "Jade, hold onto me tightly. I'm going to use my semblance cause I'm lazy." Ozpin said before feeling an arm around his waist.
