I went to pick Sasha up, I drove all the way to her house and watched closely as she walked up to the car, she had a yellow dress on, which reached down all the way to her ankles, she wore boots, she had her hair curled, her makeup was simple, her style hasn't changed, she was still absolutely beautiful.

I didn't notice as she reached my car and opened the door, "Hi," she said in a bored tone, the smell of vanilla filled the air after she came in.

"Hey sash, you look beautiful." I complemented her, I haven't told her that until now. She said nothing and looked straight ahead. As if she was mad at me.

I got the message that she didn't want to talk so I started driving. Three years ago, she would open the radio and search for our favorite songs so we can scream the lyrics. She'd tell me about her biggest fears, we'd joke about flying cars. We would make up scenarios. This time, it was awfully quiet. She didn't bother to break the silence. Nor did I because I was afraid of her reaction.

After twenty minutes we reached Amanda's house. It was huge, surrounded by tons of students of all ages, the lights in the yard shone brightly around Amanda's house, which basically looked like a mansion.

I gestured to Sasha, "come on." I said, she nodded in response and walked by my side, she didn't speak a word. She was awfully quiet. Which wasn't her at all.

Once we reached the front porch, we were already swarmed by sweating bodies. The front door was open and we got in.It wasn't my first time here, James has begged me a couple of times to come and visit Amanda.

The living room had additional tables added that were holding red plastic cups and different types of drinks, at the side of the living room was a sliding door revealing the pool, which was again, swarmed with teenagers. The stairs was on my left.

I scanned the building looking for Amanda and James, I spotted them near the staircase, I walked towards them pulling Sasha's with me.

"Hey." Said Amanda, this party was no different, she had that same hot pink dress that was too big it took most of the place, her hair was blonde and straight reaching down her waist. She had hot pink lipstick on and her face was full of makeup. James, was simple with the beanie I stole from him the other day and a designer shirt with long sleeves.

I on the other hand had a hoodie on. I didn't bother to look at my best this party, I wasn't really feeling it with whatever was going on. "So, glad you came Lucas." Said Amanda, with her sweet-but-not-too-sweet tone.

I just smiled at her and turned my attention all the way to James. "So how are you coping with Sasha's behavior?" He asked.

"it bugs me to be honest, she changed so much that I cannot even talk to her, man. I just.. I don't know what to do." James probably heard the emotion in my voice as he patted my back. "You'll get there." He said. I chose to ignore him.

More people starting coming and the place was got even more crowded. "Let's go outside." Screamed James over the music. "Okay." That's when I realized that we have lost Amanda and Sasha. "Wait James, where did Amanda and Sasha go?" I said as I looked around the building, looking for them.

"I don't know, should we look for them?" Asked James. "Yeah, great idea." I said as we went out to the pool.

"Do you see them?" I asked James. That's when we spotted Amanda, she was with her friend Karen, who James and I never got to meet.
"Guys!" Yelled Amanda as she ran toward us, alone.

"Where'd you go." Said James, making a fake sad face at her, "I was worried." He continued.

"Aww, I didn't mean to James, i'm so sorry I went to fix my makeup in my room." Said Amanda, in a whiney tone and she hugged him. I looked around me, and I still couldn't see Sasha.

"Uh Amanda?" I called for her name, grabbing her attention, "what?" She asked her tone a girly harsh.

"Do you know where Sasha is?" I asked her, Amanda made a face, "well, I left her with you." She said emphasizing the you. "And I don't know where she went." She continued. Then she smiled her wicked smile and pulled James by the arm, "lemme show you the painting I drew, you'd love it."

James left with her without a second thought. Sasha where are you. I texted her. She didn't open the message, so I decided I'd look for her myself.
