"At least the capital is only a day away," Nee stated

"But we are traveling with someone who is not used to walking long distances," Alex said. "So we will have to take lots of breaks. It should be more like two days rather than one. We should probably find an inn to stay in as well."

Gregory nodded. "That sounds like a good idea."

"Is there a town nearby?" I asked.

"About three hours away. We should get there a bit after sundown."

I nodded. "Then let's head that way."

"We need a new song," Nee announced. "We have a new member. What will she be?"

"Like she said at the wedding, the diplomat."

"So the angel, jester, wizard, unicorn, and diplomat?"

"Of course."

"She seems a bit out of place. We should make her something else." Alex added.

"Hmm. what's a diplomatic magical creature?" I asked.

"Well, a jester isn't a creature," Rina explained. "Why do I need to be a creature?"

"That's true, then what should you be?" Nee questioned.

"An advisor."

"I say she should be a mermaid because they convince people with their songs," Alex said.

"To their deaths," Gregory added.

I started to hum thinking.

"So we really are making a new song?" Alex said.

I nodded.

"The ragtag group. A family of five." Alex started.

"The unicorn daughter, her angel mother, a wizard uncle, and her aunts the mermaid and the jester," Nee added.

"The ragtag group on a quest." Rina chanted.

I laughed. "This one is terrible."

"Like the other one wasn't" Alex teased.

"What was the last one?" Rina asked.

We all sang our songs laughing and Rina shared some of the noble songs. Singing and laughing we carried on walking as the sun went down showing us the beautiful colors that took my breath away just like the first time I saw it. The sunset will forever be beautiful. The moon was at full power that night and was as round as can be. We reached the town listening to Gregory telling us facts about the full moons. Soon we had made it to the inn.

"When the moon--"

"Shut up!" Alex yelled. "I've had enough of your facts tonight. I am too tired and cranky."

"Then isn't it good that we reached the inn."

Alex put Rina's hood over her. "We should be careful. There may be someone who recognizes you here."

We all put up our hoods after Alex's words because someone may also recognize the four people that were supposed to be hanged. The people that are supposed to be dead.

"How may I help you?" The innkeeper asked.

" Can we have three rooms?" I answered.

"As long as you have the money to pay for it. Baths and food are extra."

Rina sighed at his words. I assumed that she wanted a bath.

Gregory pulled out coins from his pouch. "Is this enough."
