Some of you might be familiar with the birth of the two twins, Apollo and Artemis. I met them in person, though I may not want to say something bad about them or else they'll blast me into pieces.

So, there mother was a Titan named Leto. She had twins with Zeus. Of course, Queen Hera always has to be in the story. She was always mad at the girlfriends of Zeus.

She would always try to make them miserable.

When she found out about Leto... Holy cow was she furious! She did what normal wives which get cheated on by their husband (No offense to some of you lovely mothers).

She spoke to everybody so her curse would be heard by everyone. The whispered to the nymphs and satyrs. "People of Earth, I shall bring a curse to the Titan, Leto. When she is about to give birth, do not welcome her."

Of course she made a specific curse. It went something like this, Leto! You cannot give birth on any land on the earth that is attached to it's roots!

Since the others were afraid of Hera, they obeyed her commands.

They babies were eager to go out. I can imagine their conversations inside the womb.

-

"Hey sissy, we look so alike. But you gotta admit, I'm more hotter than you." Apollo said.

Artemis gritted her teeth. "Do not call me sissy. And for the record, I'm way hotter than you!"

Apollo chuckled. "What ever makes you happy... Sissy." Apollo grins.

-

When the time was coming, Leto frantically searched all over the place to give birth. The problem was the curse and the nymphs wouldn't welcome her.

The babies were kicking so hard.

I know what you may be thinking, Why can't she give birth on sea? The problem was she was in pain and couldn't think of it.

But even in that pain, she came up with a better idea. How about Delos! She exclaimed.

It is simply floating on the water, it does not have roots, so that means the curse doesn't count there!

So she got a boat. Sailed to Delos.

The nymphs on the island were afraid of the curse so Leto had to explain to them that it didn't count on Delos since it was not rooted to the earth.

The nymphs took her to a spring. They delivered the babies. It was magical.

New flowers bloomed everywhere. They named it the Curse of Delos. Delos grew roots and attached itself to the earth. Now if stood in one place. It did this because idk.

It became popular for being the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis.

The strangest thing happened when Apollo came out. He immediately grew into a five year old, though technically he was 5 seconds old.

He started to dance and sing. "Hello mommy! It's very great to see you all!" Apollo sang and shot an arrow with a bow he summoned magically.

He quickly dozed off. It was the strangest thing anyone has ever seen. Then Leto gave birth to Artemis which is another story I'm going to tell next time.
