"Oh Brick," Jason whispered. "I think I love you."
The Brick said nothing.(thank goodness!)
"I know at first we had a rocky relationship." Jason said.
He was lying on his bed in Cabin 1 in Camp Half-Blood. A brick sat in front of him.
"With you hitting me in the head and all that, but that didn't really hurt much, and it's not like you had a choice to be picked up and thrown."
Brick sat in front of him in silence.
"What's that Brick?" Jason leant in closer to the brick and cuffed his hand around his ear.
After a few moments, he sat back up. "You wouldn't have hit me if you had a choice? Well that's the most romantic thing I've ever heard!"
He leant in to his beloved brick again for a couple of seconds.
"What's that Brick? You want me to take you on a date?"
He looked closely at the brick to make sure he heard right.
"But Brick, what would they say about us? I think we should keep this thing between us a secret."
Jason looked closely at the brick.
"NO brick, I am not ashamed of you! It's just that, what if they hurt you? Or pick you up and throw you." Jason pleaded to the brick.
Jason went silent for a minute to 'listen' to the brick.
"No, I like you just the way you are Brick. We go perfectly together. You and I!-"
"Jason? What are you doing?" Piper burst out from the door.
Jason quickly hid the brick into the covers. "Uhh nothing."
"Right." Piper answered not convinced.
"Come on, let's go down to the beach." Jason suggested grabbing her by the hand and taking his girlfriend to the beach.
