Zeus' first wife was a Titan named Metis. She was pregnant with Zeus' child. She was going to the throne room to tell her husband the good news.

"Oh Zeus! I am pregnant with our child! They told me it was a girl!" Metis screams in joy.

Zeus was sipping from his cup of nectar while she was talking. When he heard the news, he did a spit take, which basically was the world's first spit take.

"That's wonderful news honey!" Zeus never had a child before, and his childhood was definitely not joyful but full of killing.

"The Oracle Of Delphi has given me a prophecy about our children," Metis started. Zeus thought this was bad news bad the expression on her face said it wasn't, at least, for her.

"They told me that if we do have another child, it will be a boy and when he grows up he will rule the cosmos! Isn't that great?" Said Metis.

For Zeus, it wasn't great. He kept thinking on how he stole the title from his father. He was worried his son would do the same to him.

You know what he did next?

He panicked and did the took care of the problem. He opened his mouth wide. He sucked in the air including his wife. Basically he swallowed his wife whole.

Dun, dun, DUN!

What happened next?

Since immortals can't die even when they're ingested by other immortals, she gave birth to her daughter right there in Zeus' gut.

Feel free to get sick now. I just ate a bunch of donuts and now I think I'm gonna hurl.

Just kidding.

But I did want to hurl but decided not to, since there are children.

What happened to the child? That's another story I'm gonna tell next time.
