Chapter 9: Slaps and Heartbreaks

Scorpius's POV

 I got out of the Hospital wing and was told to go to Professor Mcgonagall's office. I went there and saw my Dad and Gracie. Mcgonagall notices me and says, "Yes, Scorpius. Come and sit down." I go and sit down in the chair. My Dad starts yelling, "SCORPIUS HYPERION MALFOY THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE YOU'VE BEEN HORRIBLE LATELY! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT. YOUR MOTHER WOULD BE SO ASHAMED OF YOU." He then slapped me. Right across the face. I look down at my lap. "Scorpius, I'm so sor-" I cut him off. "No. I'm a disappointment." I look up at him, "I'm horrible in school. I can't open up to many people. I get into fights. Mum would probably hate me. I fight someone because they said shit about my family. People sa ying that my Mum died because she was ashamed of being a Malfoy. I have no right to get upset with that. I don't even know why I'm here anymore. I try my hardest but what I get in return is being called a disappointment and a slap across my face. And it's from the only family I have left."

I just got up and left the office. I went to the tree near the Black Lake. I then saw Al and Rosie sitting there talking to each other. I made my way up to them and Rose got up almost instantly. She grabbed my face and started examining it. "Are you okay? What's that red mark? What took you so long?" I just stared into her big blue eyes. Then Albus said, "Dude!" I shook my head snapping out of it.

"I'm not okay. The red mark is from my Dad. He slapped me and called me a disappointment. He also said my Mum would be ashamed of me." Rose and Albus looked so shocked. Rose let go of my face and just hugged me very tightly. I hugged her back.

"Dang Dude. Do you want to talk about it?" Al asks me. I nod, "Sure, but I only wanna talk to you." Rose lets go of me.

"Okay...I'll cya guys later." She looks a bit upset. Rose goes and hugs Al and then kisses my cheek. "I'm going to go hang out with Teddy." She then walks away.

Al and I sit against the tree. I tell him everything. He talked me through it. Albus isn't very good at talking to people but for some reason he gets me.

Albus and I went around walking. I look up and notice Alice is kissing Mounstree. I look at Albus. He has tears in his eyes but he's trying not to cry. He just then turns and walks away. I swear I'm gonna end up killing Calin one day. I walk off to go after Albus.

Albus's POV

I can't believe it. This is so stupid, and of all people it's Calin. I go to the dungeons and go into the common room. I ran up to my dormitory after because I didn't want anyone to see me. I throw my things on the floor and sit in my bed with my head in my hands.

A little bit later Scorp comes in. He sits next to me. "Dude, you okay?" I look at him. "This love stuff is as stupid as shit." I look back down.

"That's life but I swear to god, like of all people she picks the person who hates us." I get up and say, "I don't give a fuck anymore, this is pointless. I'm not gonna sit my ass down on the bed and mope over her. Especially because of who she is with." Scorpius gets up, slightly punches the air, and loudly says, "That's the spirit."

"Let's go have a guys night. Let's go to Hogsmeade and get some spray paint and enchant it. We'll go do some stuff to the castle." He nods and we leave.

Once we're in Hogsmeade we go to a new shop where they sell Alot of Muggle Products. My parents made sure I knew a lot of Muggle stuff. We got a can of every color spray paint and some we grabbed two bottles.

We go back to Hogwarts and straight to the ROR. Scorpius exclaimed, "That was cool! Now we need to come up with a plan." I nod and tell him, "Let's do the enchantment so the spray paint can't get off. It'll be temporary because we can't actually ruin Hogwarts." We did all the enchantments and came up with a plan.
