Chapter 12

Rose POV

I woke up the next day and remember it's a free dress day. Hogwarts now has some days you don't have to wear your robes and you can wear muggle clothing.

I wear denim overall romper with a white striped shirt. I straighten my hair with some spells and put on a black hat that says california. I put on some brown sandals and then carry around my white polaroid camera.

I leave my dorm and the common room I see Al and Scorpius standing right next to the Fat Lady painting. I immediately jump in Scorpius's arms and hug him really tight. After a moment I feel his arms wrap around me.

I pull apart but still hugging him. "When did you get out of the hospital wing?" I asked. He shrugged and said, "Like 1:00 in the middle of the night."

I quickly kiss his cheek and fully let go of him and turn to Al. "Good mornin-. What are you guys wearing?"

"Our robes, the real question is what are you wearing?" Albus responded with.

"It's a free dress day." I answer.

"Oh this is perfect then after class we don't have to change and hurry." Scorpius says with a huge smile on his face.

I give him a questioning look. He says, "Meet me at the Black Lake Tree right after class. I'm gonna go change. We still have half an hour until breakfast." I nod and Al says he's gonna go change to so I head down to the great hall to wait there for them until breakfast.

They show up about 25 minutes later so breakfast just started. Scorpius was wearing a white shirt with some writing on it and a leather jacket. His pants were black jeans and his shoes were converse. His hair was messy but it didn't look bad.

We went to the Slytherin table to eat today. The boys were acting a bit strange but I ignored it. "Hey guys since I'm done eating I'm going to head to class. I have double potions." I said. I got up and left to potions while carrying my books since I left my bag in my dormitory.

I hear someone call my name then feel them next to me. I look up and see Scorp on my left. Right before I can say anything someone comes to my right side, it's Al.

Scorpius then says, "Let me carry your books for you." Before I could say anything he took the books out of my hands. I say, "Thanks." And we continue to walk to potions.

Once we get there we walk inside and we take our seats right next to each other. A second later my Dad and Uncle Harry walk in. I'm so shocked to see them. I'm even more shocked when I see the way my dad looks. He looks so dull.

"Dad? Uncle Harry? What are you guys doing here?" I ask. My Dad gives me a smile until he sees that I'm next to Scorpius and frowns. I roll my eyes and Uncle Harry speaks, "Well Professor Mcgonagall asked us if we can teach Potions this week because your Professor left for a week for some reason." I nod.

"Uncle Ron are you okay?" Al asks, looking a little concerned. My Dad clears his throat and says, "Um yeah I'm fine. You're Dad just made me come with him."

I then remember he's probably like this because of Mum. "Dad is this because the um note I got at the start of the year?" I ask, not wanting to say anything. Before he could say anything Uncle Harry interrupts, "Rose, it's fine he's getting better." I nod.

I hear the door open and then Calin Mounstree walks in. I see Albus and Scorpius tense up. "Albus Scorp, calm down." I yell at both of them.

"Oh Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. Two thirds of the golden trio. Isn't the other member Hermione Granger. Rose isn't that your Mum?" Mounstree says with a smirk on his face.
