Chapter 4: It's Only a Tiny Crush (Rose POV)

I was in my room the afternoon of August 30th. I was reading a new book my Mum and Dad got me. Then Hugo ran into my room. "What do you want Hugo?" I asked annoyed because I was at a good part in my book. "It's Lily! She wants to kill me." I rolled my eyes then realized what he said and got up and ran downstairs. When I got down the stairs, Albus jumped on me. "Hey Rosie!" I laughed and hugged back. It's been forever since I last saw them. They went on vacation for 2 weeks. "Hey Al, I missed you!" I let go of him and hugged my aunt and uncle. "Hi Uncle Harry and Auntie Ginny! I missed you guys." I said while smiling. Just a moment after someone came from behind me and picked me up. I started to laugh immediately knowing who it was. "James Sirius Potter, put me down." He put me down and I turned around and hugged him. "How'd you know it was me?" James asked, hugging me back. "Well all the boys in the family do that, you guys are the only ones here and Albus was right in front of me." I said and let go of him. "Anyways where's Lily?" I asked and Lily and Hugo ran downstairs a second after and Lily hugged me when she saw me. "ROSE!" I smiled and hugged back, "LILY!" We let go then Albus grabbed my wrist, "C'mon Rosie we have a lot to talk about." I waved bye to everyone as Albus dragged me upstairs.

"So whats up?" I asked. He answered, "Oh nothing much I just want to talk to you about vacation." I sat down on my bed and he told me everything. "So what's up with you?" he asked. I blushed a bit remembering what happened to me yesterday. "Umm...Nothing much. I've been home not thinking about a boy, Why'd you ask?" Right when I said that I covered my mouth. "WHO?!" Albus yelled. I put my hand over his mouth, "Shhhhhh...no one can know." I whispered, "I think I like a boy but I can't tell anyone because I hate liking him. It's only a tiny crush."

Albus looked at me, "C'mon Rosie we tell each other everything." I sighed, "Fine but don't do anything. I like Scorpius." His eyes widened. "As in my best friend Scorpius? The Scorpius you always bicker with? Scorpius Malfoy?" I nodded. He grinned, "This is amazing." I looked at him confused.

"Yeah it's great the one time I like a guy it's supposed to be the guy I hate. My dad would kill me if he found out."

"Don't worry Rosie, He won't find out." Albus said smiling. "Plus I'm the only one who knows and I won't tell a soul."

I hugged Albus. "You're the best." He kissed my forehead and we went and sat down. "Al, I've been reading a new book. It's really good you should read it." He laughed and responded, "Rosie, you say that with every book you read." Al and I talked for a few hours then an owl flew to the window. Albus got up and took the note. "It's for me from Scorp." He opened and read it. "Rose do you have parchment, ink, and a quill I could borrow?" I got up and got the stuff out of the cabinet. I handed it to him, "Is everything okay?" Albus nodded,wrote the note, attached it to the owl and the owl left.

A second after Uncle Harry called us downstairs. We went downstairs and sat down. "We're gonna spend the night here, okay?" Auntie Ginny said. Albus smiled, "Yeah that's great." After I said, "James and Albus will wear Hugo's clothes and Lily can wear one of my nightgowns." After a bit we got ready and Albus and Lily were going to sleep in my room.

"It's getting late Rosie." I turned around and saw Lily all dressed. "Alright, let's go to sleep." We laid down in bed and Albus came in and went in his bed. "Goodnight Rosie. Goodnight Lils." We all fell asleep.
