Chapter 7: "You're the greatest big sister anyone can ask for." (Rose POV)

I stayed with Hugo for a few days. I got over it in the first two days but Hugo was worse. It's been a week and he's barely gotten out of bed. I'm getting really worried, I don't think this is the only thing bothering him anymore.

I walked into Hugo's room and sat next to him. "Hey Hugh, what's wrong?" He just stared at me. "Hugo, there's something more to it then just the break." His eyes got watery so I hugged him.

"Rosie, what if they get a divorce and we'll barely be allowed to see each other?" He asked while he was sniffing trying not to cry. I hugged him tighter, "It won't happen. Look if they're not together by Christmas is when we can suspect anything. You can't be depressed, it's not the Hugo I know."

We stayed there for a little bit. I let go and wiped his face. He gave me a sad smile. "I love you Rosie. I know we don't say it too much but I really love you. You're the greatest big sister anyone can ask for." I kissed his cheek. "It's Sunday, so are you going to go to class tomorrow?" He nods and I hug him one last time.

"I'm gonna go, I'll probably be walking around the castle with Albus. Come get me if you need me. I'll come and check on you later today, but you should go hang out with the family everyone's worried about you." I stood up and then he did to and nodded. "I guess I should. I mean I've only been talking to you this whole time."

I left the room and went to the common room to find Albus on the couch. "Who let you in?" I asked. He looked up, "Oh James did. I was waiting for you to go walking. James said you were talking to Hugo. Is he feeling okay now?" I nodded, "He's better now. He said he's going to go and talk to everyone. Obviously not about what happened but he said he's ready to talk." Albus smiled, nodded, then stood up. "C'mon let's go walking. Scorpius will come with us."

Oh my god I haven't talked to him all week. "O-okay." We walked out the door and went to the tree by the lake. He was sitting and leaning against the tree. He looked so cute. He looked up and saw us so he stood up. I ran into his arms, we just hugged. Albus came and said, "So Rosie what's up with this whole thing with you and Hugo? You haven't told any of the family."

I let go of Scorp and turned around to face Al. "Well...Don't tell anyone in the family. Umm, My parents are taking a break." I had tears in my eyes when I said it. I haven't realized how much it actually hurts until I said it out loud. Albus just had a shocked look on his face then he saw my tears. He hugged me, I hugged him back. We soon let go and I smiled a little bit.

"C'mon let's go see Teddy. Scorpius can come with us." I shook my head. "I'll go by myself, he hasn't seen me in awhile." The boys nodded and I continued, "See you guys later. I'll come down here once I've finished." I walked away and went back to the castle. I walked to the DADA classroom because Teddy's normally there.

I knocked on the door and a voice called, "Come in." I walked in and went up to his desk. He got up and hugged me, "Rosie where have you and Hugo been?" I hugged back and started crying. I didn't feel like I had to be strong for Teddy. "Hugo has been depressed and I've been watching over him. We're coming tomorrow."

He asked, "What happened?" I let go of him and we both sat down. "Well, my Mum and Dad got in a really big fight. Mum sent a letter saying they're taking a break." I wiped my tears. "Hugo's worried they'll get a divorce." He gave me a sentimental and confused look. "But don't they always fight. They'll get over it right away." I shake my head.

"Teddy It wasn't like a normal argument. My Mum was telling him to leave and was crying." He put his hand on my shoulder.

"Everything will be okay in the end. Life always has a way of putting itself back together. But right now we can only hope for the best." I smile and give him a hug. "Thanks Teddy." He hugs me back then lets go. "No problem little sis." He winks and I wave and then leave.
