"it was like the largest wave had just run me over, it was day outside and i hear your low growls of telling me to come back,

i walk forward, trying to ignore you but the fields, the strawberries and cream, the dusty piano come rushing back to me,

making me buck my knees.

i couldn't walk away so i turned around to come back to you, my pain, my paradise but as i look back,

our home, you, were all but gone,

leaving behind a singular sunflower and barren land.

maybe if i loved you more than i did myself, i would've stayed,

maybe you would have still played with my hair and let me sleep on you as the eternal sunlight graced us.

but until next time,

i'll miss you, my sunflower"
