Hana's POV
—————————————————————
Crap...I swear, I put my permission slip in my backpack after my dad had signed it! How was it missing?!
Things just were not adding up \(•~•)/
"I probably dropped it on the ground somehow, maybe I just need to retrace my steps" I told myself.
And so I turned around, looked at the ground for a good second to make sure I didn't miss any paper or trash on the ground that could have been my permission slip, and then I remembered.
"Chaeyoung and me where camped out in front of the bulletin board for a while, maybe I dropped it there," seriously I amaze myself sometimes.
I ran frantically, mostly because I was late to class by then, and turned the corner.
Next thing I knew...
I was on the ground, I had bumped into someone, and from what my head felt, I'm guessing they must have bumped their head with mine.
We were on the ground from the impact, so I got up and shook off my headache. I reached out my hand to help, whoever it was, up. But as we locked eyes I knew exactly who it was.
That darned Choi Yeonjun.
I stayed polite and helped him up.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you like that" He said.
"No worries, accidents happen" I said plainly.
Suddenly, I remembered the mission I was on. I looked around at the ground. And I could feel Choi Yeonjun's eyes following my every move.
I walked past him as if he wasn't there, because I really had no intention in talking or staying there. But I was stopped dead in my tracks as I saw Park Soyeon, my personal living hell.
She was at her locker surrounded by two guys and she was too focused on them to bother to notice me at that time. But I don't play games.
I turned around to make my escape, and to my darned surprise, that Choi Yeonjun was STILL there!
"Do you know what apologizing is?" He said with a smug smirk, he even had his hands in his pockets to make himself seem all cool.
[Like The Attached Image]I hadn't glanced at the bulletin board long enough to know the information for my NEW mission. A permission slip wasn't going to cost me my life, but that Park Soyeon was.
I grabbed Choi Yeonjun by the hand and shoved him into an abandoned club classroom before getting in myself and shutting the door quietly behind me.
"Do you happen to know what score Park Soyeon got on Ms. Jeong's Test?" I asked with more expression than I've ever used before.
"I tend to only look at mine, but I'm pretty sure it was 15/50" He said.
My heart sank, "this is the day I die" I told myself.
"For someone who isn't so easy to read, I'm guessing you're in trouble with her. But why?" He said in genuine curiosity.
"I'm guessing your favorite hobby is reading" I said as I sat down on one of the old desks.
Choi Yeonjun laughed and sat on the desk in front of the one I was in, in a position in where he could face me.
"You love changing the subject" he said smiling at me.
I gulped up any resentment or need to smack him across the face because I really didn't need any more problems to carry on my back 24/7.
"We tied on that test, I worked my butt off, and I'm guessing you were slacking off, or else you would've gotten 50/50" He said in a gentle tone.
"You know where this story's going, you don't need to do anymore digging" I said leaning in close to his face.
We made eye contact.
I could tell he was flustered, and he began to blush, so I sat back.
"Nice meeting the only person who's ever tied with me, but I gotta go" I said as I stood up.
But he grabbed my wrist and stood up with what seemed like shock and horror on his face. Yet he still managed to look so- never mind.
Then I heard it, the sound of high heels clanking on the ground getting closer and closer. And one subtle sentence that could have killed me dead on the spot if it wasn't for that jerk being in the same room as me.
"Hana, don't hide from me, we need to have a little chat!" Soyeon said from a distance.
