Memories (muichiro x fem reader)

The Mission

                           Y/N's POV

"AAH! Shinobu!" What just happened!? Why is Muichiro here? "Hey um Shinobu? What is Muichiro doing here?"

"Oh, he's the one that saved you! Anyways welcome back!" Shinobu said." Now we've got a hashira meeting to attend."

"Wait what do you mean?" I asked.

"For the missions of course. You're all healed so you can go on missions now so let's go!" 'Why is she always smiling and happy?' I thought.

Why does she run so fast, I can barely keep up! I felt a hand pull on me.

"Why are you so slow?" Muichiro said while grabbing me. At that moment, I felt my face turn red. Why-why is he holding my hand? I quickly pulled away and started running faster.

"Hello, my children. Unfortunately, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inoske will not be joining us today but Y/N will. Now I'll give partners." 'Wait Tanjirou never said anything about this...I guess they already finished the trial while I was knocked out.

He gave everyone partners and missions, and now only me and Muichiro were left in the end. "You two will be partners now." I looked over. Oh, this isn't gonna go well. I thought to myself. "Your first mission is in the mountains next to Tokyo. May you travel safely." We both then left.

                              Third POV 

Muichiro and Y/N have been walking for hours without stopping. "Hey, Muichiro? Can't we rest for a bit? Aren't you hungry?" He looked at her in a mean way.

"I'm not hungry and be quiet."

"Aren't you at least a bit hungry? Here, have a rice ball." She asked.

He then pushed Y/N's hand away. "I already told you. I'm not hungry now shut it." 'Jeez, why is he so mean.' Y/N thought to herself. You two then spotted a demon nearby!

             Muichiro's POV

"Breath of the Rose form 1, Slicing Petal!" Y/N only slashed the body in half. What a stupid child. "Really Y/N? Get your aim on. Mist Breathing form 5, Sea of clouds and Haze."

"Wow, Muichiro! You cut its head off!" Y/N screamed at me. Shit! It's regenerating! Wait no. There's more!

"Y/N Watch out!" I then grabbed on to Y/N and threw her out of the way. "Don't be so reckless with demons. Now get up." We then both defeated the demons and rushed to a cabin we found in the woods.

"Thanks, Muichiro for helping me!" I didn't answer her back. "I'm gonna go set up the rooms in the cabin."

'God, it's cold out here. I'm gonna go inside.' I thought to myself. Wait. There's only one bed....."Y/N? There's only one bed..."

"WAIT WHAT!?" Y/N yelled. 'Heh, it's cute when she screams. Why am I thinking about this!?

"I can sleep on the floor if you want me to," I asked,"

"But it's cold!"

                     Y/N's POV

When I came into the cabin I saw there was only one-bed Eh!? How is there only one bed!? Oyataka Sama said nothing about this!? Then Muichiro came in and looked down at the bed.

"There's only one bed," Muichiro said out loud. "I can sleep on the floor if you want."

"It's cold though! I can't let you sleep on the floor!" I shouted.

"What, you want me to sleep with you?" Muichiro asked.

My face then turned red and started heating up. "N-not exactly...well..."

"Ok, look. You either let me sleep on the floor or I sleep with you. It's literally 2 A.M, and you're probably tired and so am I so choose dammit."

Oh shit, what do I say...I don't want him to be cold, and I don't want to sleep with him...I'm gonna regret saying this. "U-um y-you can...s-sleep with m-me?" His eyes then widened. "I-if it's ok with you of course! I-I don't want you to feel uncomfortable heh!"

"N-No it's fine! It's just that we're both only 14!" He had a blank face, but he was talking in a worried state of mind.

We then both got ready for bed and when we actually laid down, I was dead on the inside. How come he actually agreed!? Urgh! I want to die! Muichiro then looked at me with a death stare like he wanted to kill me. Argh! Crap I'm blushing! I never really liked anyone...I think? But why do I have a distinct memory of someone that looks like him...?
