Memories (muichiro x fem reader)

Roses

After the meeting, I and Muichiro went to go look at my new estate. It was right next to the forest where Muichiro's estate was so we were practically neighbors. "Look at all the roses! I love it!" Muichiro laughed at me. The estate had roses all around it which I loved. "The house is also so big!" The roses were scattered everywhere. Some were pink, yellow, and white but most were deep red. Everything was so majestical and wonderful. Just like how I wanted it to be.

Muichiro looked around. "They're okay but you're prettier than all of them." I started to blush at that comment and he laughed. "It's true though! Might I tell you, you're also extremely cute as ever!"

"Stop that!" I continued to push his shoulder and he laughed even more. I love his laugh and smile. "Hmph!" I pinched his small and soft cheek. So SQUISHY!!!! Just like I...remember?

"Hey stop that!" I laughed at him now. "I don't like people squishing my cheeks." He mumbled as he rubbed his tiny cheek. "Kanroji san did it once and I almost cut her hand off." I looked surprised at that comment. "Haha just kidding, sorta, anyway let's go inside"

We walked inside through the back garden where there were rabbits, birds, and a ton of flowers. There was also a tiny pathway leading inside just like the Butterfly Estate. Hanging from the sides of the house were wisteria flowers. Muichiro said that all of the estates had that. Inside was even more beautiful as the outside. It was decked out in roses here and there. I loved roses so this was amazing for me. Everything had roses on it. I wonder why I liked roses so much. I never remembered why. The walls were blank so it made me sorta sad. Muichiro seemed to notice. "Hm. This place is just how you wanted your house to be before!" I looked at him confused. "Wait what do you mean?"

"Don't you...remember? We were talking about what we wanted when we grew up while we were kids..." I was still confused. "Never mind."

3rd POV

Did she forget about her childhood or lose her memories? I guess she forgot. "So what do you want to do now?" Muichiro asked her.

"I dunno. Oh right! Zenitsu said that he wanted to talk with you about something." I looked disgusted at her. "Oh cmon! That fight was nothing! It wasn't like the fight between-" Y/N touched her head and looked down. Who-who's this person I'm thinking about...? Y/N then passed out on the floor.

Y/N's past

"Mui Chan! Yui Chan! Do you need help!?" Y/N yelled at them while they were carrying wood. Yuichiro looked at her with a glare. "No. Now leave us alone." Y/N looked sad and headed over to Muichiro. "Hi Mui Chan!" The happy but sad boy looked at the girl with long wavy hair. "Hi N/N[Nick Name] Chan. How are you today?"

Y/N nodded at him. "I'm fine!" Muichiro took out a rose from his sleeveless white kimono. "This is for you! Because you're as beautiful as a rose!" Y/N took the rose from her and looked at it with a smile. "Thank you Mui Chan!"

"One day I'm gonna marry someone and I hope it's you!"

"Mhm! Me too!" The two of them laughed. "Mui! Yui! Time to come home!" Muichiro and Yuichiro's parents called them. "Bye!" She would continue to visit the twins everyday.

Time skip: 11 years old; Summer

"Mom! I'm going to Mui and Yui's!" Y/N told her mother. "Um, Y/N I don't think it's the right time..." Y/N looked at her confused. She hasn't seen them in over a month or two because her mother wouldn't let her.

"What do you mean? Whatever I'm gonna go check on them. Be right back!"

"No Y/N-" Her mother said trying to stop her from going but she still went.

Y/N knocked on the cabin door waiting for someone to answer but no one came. I wonder where they are. Y/N headed towards the back door when she heard people arguing. She looked through the window and saw Yuichiro and Muichiro in there. "YOU THINK WE CAN BECOME SWORDS MEN!? WE'D DIE LIKE DOGS OUT THERE YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE WE'RE MOM AND DAD'S KIDS IDIOT!!!" Y/N crouched down from the window still hearing them fighting. "JUST GO GET THE RICE!!!"

She looked to her left and saw Muichiro running out of their cabin. "Mui Chan!" Muichiro turned around to find Y/N running after him. Muichiro had a bucket in his hand crying. "What happened?"

He sniffed. "Oh nothing. Nii san just yelled at me again."

"Why is he so mean? And who's that lady that keeps coming to your house? I heard what he said to you." Muichiro looked at the girl surprised and sort of mad. "Why did you ease drop on us!? Don't do that N/N Chan!"

Y/N squished his cheek. "Hey friends can worry too! I've been hearing you two screaming for over 2 months! What happened?" Muichiro looked at her and started crying again. "Wait! If you don't want to tell me it's alright!"

"No It's ok. Both mom and dad died. Mom died from bronchitis and dad tried to save her with herbs from a nearby mountain but died falling off a cliff during a thunderstorm....ever since, Yuichiro has been acting all mean and angry at me all the time." Y/N looked at him sadly and hugged him.

"STOP HANGING OUT WITH THAT GIRL AND GET THE RICE ALREADY!!!" It was Yuichiro screaming at him again. "I gotta go now Y/N. I'll talk to you later if I can. Bye."

I miss the old Mui. He was sad all the time now. I have to make him happy again!

It was a hot summer day so that night the both of the families left their door open for some cool air. Y/N's mother told her to go out and grab the ball she left outside that morning. After she got the ball and started walking inside, she noticed a red liquid pouring out of the house. She quickly ran inside to find her father dead, and her mother on the floor near death, along with a demon eating her father. Y/N was terrified, quickly grabbed her mother and started running to the Tokitou Twin's house. The demon was chasing them so she ran faster.

She kept on running until she fell on the ground. She though she was about to die but then someone stepped in front of them with an axe. "Mui...Mui Chan?" He kept on destroying the demon until sunrise and the demon turned into ash. Muichiro crawled back to their cabin slowly since he was also wounded. Yui Chan! Her mother was already dead but she didn't notice so she still carried her and when she got to their cabin, Y/N saw Muichiro crying with Yuichiro missing an arm and praying for Muichiro. They both held each other's hand as Yuichiro was still praying for him as he closed his eyes. "NII SAN!!!!" Muichiro screamed in pain as he saw his brother dying in front of him. Y/N dropped her mother and bent down also crying. A few hours later, the Kakushi arrived and checked on Y/N but she insisted on checking on Muichiro instead. The Kakushi brought her and Muichiro to the Demon Slayer Headquarters where Y/N was trained along with Kanao, by Kanae Kocho to be a demon slayer. She never found out what happened to Muichiro until now.

"Y/N? Are you ok?" She looked up and saw Naho, Sumi, and Kiyo looking at her worriedly.
