Marks

A/N- So in the end, Gyoumei said something about a proposition and I don't really know what they were going to talk about so I just left it there. Sorry if it bothers you.

The air in the room suddenly felt heavy as Amane said what happened to the master. "Anyways, let's get on to the topic of this meeting. I would like to say thank you to all the pillars." Amane bowed down to them. "I'm sure you've all heard that Nezuko has conquered the sun. Kibutsuji most likely is changing his goals to go after Nezuko. So he can conquer the sun. An all-time battle is approaching. We also have reports of strange markings appearing on Kanroji sama, Tokitou sama, and L/N sama during their battles against Upper moons 4 and 5. I would like to ask how you got them and what the conditions are to obtain them." Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Y/N looked up at her.

"Marks?"

"Yes. During the Sengoku era, there were some swordsmen of the first breath who were one step away from defeating Muzan. They all had marks that resemble demon crests. But some people should know about this. The information has been passed down."

Sanemi looked up. "But I haven't heard about any of this before. Why are we hiding this?" He asked.

Amane sama sighed. "Because brooding over marks not appearing. That's why." She answered him. "Besides, a lot of information about the marks have been hazy within time. It's maybe because it has never been put or written on stone before. The Demon Slayers have been on the break of annihilation countless times. So the succession died out at sometimes. The thing is, the user of the first breath stated that once one person got the mark, it would start spreading. None of the pillars were the first ones to get the mark. It was Kamado Tanjirou with the first mark. But when we tried to ask him, he had a hard time explaining. We could've left it there but then we then found out that 3 pillars have also obtained the mark. So please inform us, L/N sama, Tokitou sama, and Kanroji sama."

"Hm. Well, we weren't fully aware of the marks at first but it felt strange." Y/N started.

"Yeah! And then I felt my heart go BADUMP BADUMP and everything go wooooooosh! And then went boom boom! And..." Mitsuri realized that everyone was staring at her and paused. "S-Sorry. I'm very sorry. I'll go hide in a whole now." She bowed down and Y/N started.

"We weren't that aware of the marks so it felt strange. Looking back at the fight, I found out that there were many differences. Now, here's what I felt. And how it was seemingly strange. You see, I don't know about the others but for me, it was a bit of rage. I asked the demon, 'Why do you eat humans' and he replied with the same thing I heard every time. Life and power. Guess I couldn't take it that time." Y/N hacked in a small laugh. "What happened after that was weird. I felt my heart racing quickly. It felt hot. I felt hot. Like I was burning up."

Shinobu looked surprised. "How hot did you get?" She asked. Y/N thought for a bit before answering. "About...39 degrees celsius? Most likely." Shinobu leaned closer. "39 degrees!? How could you move? That's very life-threatening."

"That's the thing." Muichiro cut in. "It's a test. Will you die or will you not? That's the difference between those who have the mark and those who don't. " Amane hummed. 

"So it's that simple, huh?" Sanemi clicked his tongue with a frown. "I envy those who say it's simple." Giyuu opposed. 

"What?"

"Nothing."

"So I guess manifesting a mark is now a priority for the pillars?" Shinobu suggested.

"Agreed." Gyoumei nodded. "Please inform Oyakata sama that we will do something about this so he can be at ease."

Amane slightly bowed. "Thank you. But I have one thing to say about mark training. Those who have manifested the mark must participate. No matter who is appeared for, and there will be no acceptions." Everyone nodded and Amane started standing up. "That would conclude today's meeting." She bowed once again and left.

Giyuu started standing up to leave. "Now that Amane dono has left, I shall too."

"Woah don't just leave man. We have to make future plans, don't we?" Sanemi said and looked up at him with a smirk. Y/N could sense a fight coming just from Giyuu and the wind pillar's attitude. "Then you seven can talk about it. It has nothing to do with me."

"You understand that you're still a pillar, right? You didn't say a thing during the meeting." Obanai pointed out with a cunning tone and look. Giyuu ignored him and continued walking to the door. 

"Tomioka san, just sit back down." Y/N looked his way. "Please? You're going to stir up a fight." She mumbled.

"I'm not like you guys."

Sanemi became alarmed and stood up. "You said the same thing before. Are you making fun of us!?" Giyuu didn't look back. 

"Please! No fighting!" Mitsuri panicked. Sanemi ran up to Tomioka with Mitsuri moving her hands trying to keep Sanemi away.

"Oh my literal god! Chill! Just sit back down, both of you!" Y/N yelled and everyone looked at her and even Muichiro looked shook. She looked around at them and kept her head down. "Please just...sit down." Sanemi pulled his hand away from Giyuu and Giyuu turned back. "S-Sorry about that..." Y/N quietly whispered to Muichiro.

"It's fine." Muichiro whispered back.

Sanemi and Giyuu sat down and the pillars all had a little talk.

After their short talk, Y/N and Muichiro walked back to their estates together, hand in hand. "Now. Remember what you were going to tell me?" 

I. AM. SO. SORRY. I just found my old computer literally 5 minutes ago and typed like 50 words. I KNOW I'VE BEEN GONE FOR A MONTH I JUST HAD SCHOOL, I STARTED HXH, AND I WAS LAZY. ANYWAYS, HAVE A GREAT DAY/NIGHT!
