"Yuri! Reid! I'm home! I also brought home a friend!"
Yuri peered around the corner of the wall to find Soana at the front door with Sueh.
With Reid coming behind her leg for the protection of his mother, Yuri stared in between her and Sueh.
"Who's you're friend?"
Soana handed Yuri the basket of clothes and explained, shutting the door.
"Her name is Sueh. Don't worry though. She's with me."
Yuri noticed the way Sueh was dressed in blue water tribe clothing and not the proper attire someone from the Earth Kingdom would have.
"You're water tribe, huh?" Yuri questioned Sueh.
She nodded her head.
"Yeah, but I'm a nonbender, so fear me not."
Soana rolled her eyes when Reid popped his head out to look at Sueh.
"I'm a bender!" He announced too loud.
"Does that mean you fear me!"
Reid kicked both legs in front of him, making small streams of fire spit out of the soles.
At the sight of the fire, Sueh backed away from Reid in shock.
"Reid!" Yuri scolded her son as he groaned.
"I apologize for my son's behavior."
"No, don't. It's just a bit of post-traumatic stress. Nothing big." Sueh said nervously, making her hand touch the mark on her cheekbone.
Yuri took a deep breath and turned to her son.
"Reid, what have I told you about fire bending?"
Reid slouched.
"It's not allowed here." He recited with a frown.
"That's right." Yuri nodded and looked at Sueh.
"I'm sorry about him."
"Don't be." Sueh said still a bit shaken.
Yuri played with her fingers and asked:
"So are you staying with us or something?"
Sueh looked at Soana.
The princess stammered.
"I don't know."
"We have enough room for an extra housemate, but we don't have enough food."
Sueh stopped Yuri.
"That won't be a problem."
She shrugged.
"I guess I could stay. I mean Soana's part of the reason I'm here anyway."
"What do you mean?" The princess questioned.
"Your father asked me to come to Ba Sing Se so I can keep an eye on you."
"I can take care of myself." Soana remarked.
"Yeah, I see how you took care of yourself nearly an hour ago."
Yuri snapped her eyes accusingly at Soana.
"What is she talking about?"
"Oh!" Sueh exclaimed.
"She had encountered a bounty hunter her fiancé sent. A dangerous man who could've killed her if he wanted to."
