“My pain may be the reason for somebody’s laugh. But my laugh must never be the reason for somebody’s pain.”

Today's sparring class was different. In my first class we were asked to not use our supernatural powers. Today Coach Timbell asked us to go all out. So obviously we were taken to the school field where we had much space.

Again we were divided into groups. But this time two against two. Me and Felicity grouped up against two vampire girls.

Frankly, I was scared out of my shit. It was the first time I was face to face with a vampire. Sorry, two vampires.

They both had long dark hair and looked like twins. They both looked so similar that it was almost eerie. I could see their fangs out. Hopefully the won't want to taste my blood right? I am anemic and it won't taste good.

'Hey vamps, do you think you can intimidate with with your beautiful flawless skin and big fangs?' Felicity. I really wanted to smack her head. There was no need for this.

'Lets just drop down and surrender, there is no way be can fight them' I whispered in her ear.

The two girls smirked at us. Stupid vampire hearing. I wondered if they are as fast as depicted in the books and movies.

Felicity was adamant to not surrender , which was easier on her part as she was really agile and had water controlling powers . No one cares about the fetus witch here who had only learned two runes and hell lot of geometry.

And as Coach Timbell blew his whistle, Felicity took on a fighting stance while I braced myself for the punch.

But it never came. Felicity had used her fairy magic to drench the twins with a hard splash of water. However, it only made them mad. They were literally snarling at us now.

The twin on the left came towads me with superhuman speed. From the corner of my eyes I could see the other one engaged in a powerful combat with Felicity. She was strongly defending herself from the vampire's superfast attack.

And in a flash, I was taken of the ground. The vampire lifted me up by my throat using only her left hand. I was seriously out of breath.

For the first time in my life I experienced the feel of flying, when the vampire girl jumped of the ground taking me with her.

It all happened in seconds. One moment I was standing on the ground ,and the next I was perched on a huge gargoyle stone head in the extending from the third storey. The vampire girl sitted me there and was back on the ground with equal speed.

Okay. So my life was only this long. I thanked God for giving me few days of happiness in this school and great friends like Felicity, Tiara and even Jeffery. Honestly, I was not afraid of heights but I was afraid to die falling from here.

For few minutes, no one came to my help. Coach Timbell was busy seperating a vampire and werewolf duo. The few who noticed me were laughing at my misery. My hopes were on Felicity but even she stood still and looked down at her feet. The two vampire sisters were laughing among themselves. No words came out of my throat. I wanted to shout for help, shout at everyone for standing there and gloating at my dire state. Hot tears trickled down of cheek as years of bullying flashed infront of my eyes.

I closed my eyes so as to protect myself from this harsh world.

Suddenly I felt the sensation of being lifted from the stone head and floating in the air.
