“It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.”********
Myra POV
According to Rebal, Felicity's grandmother was the queen of the fairy council. Witches, vampires and all supernatural creatures alike respected her a lot. But some seven years ago she was murdered. Her murderer had not been found though. She wielded a very powerful sceptre as a queen. And when she realised someone was after her life, she decided to hide it. So she hid it in the place she knew the most about- Woodstock High, her alma mater.
Felicity's grandmother, Queen Amaya cast a very powerful magic around a sceptre such that only her bloodline can find it. As to where it was hidden,no one knew.
And though Woodstock High was a highly secured place, over the years a lot of people came here in search of it. None however succeeded. Felicity's mother believed such a powerful weapon was best hidden so she never wanted to find it.
It only left Felicity eligible for the quest. Apparently Fiona was her half sister from her father's mistress, who did not want to raise a child. Felicity's mother, then childless gladly took up the responsibility of the child though she vowed never to forgive her husband for his infidelity.
Today was a new day. After eavesdropping over the Principal , I handed over Felicity's hair to Rebal and rushed towards my dorm. However, he found me first thing in the morning and confided all he knew about Felicity. Currently, we were in the library learning how to draw the rune for creating sparks of lightening from our finger tip.
'Focus Myra, this is not the way to learning runes. Half the time your mind is elsewhere.' Rebal chided.
'Do you think we should tell Felicity about this?' I asked.
'You can tell her if you want to but I need to tell you something regarding her' Rebal said. 'The hair I found on Rox matches with Felicity.'
'So?What?Do you think she harmed your sisters cat? Maybe she was petting her or something?'
'No Myra, I know what I am telling you may seem offending but I am sure it was Felicity who did it.'
'What the hell, Rebal. Rox died of heart attack. You know what? Lets go and talk to her. ' I started packong my bag as I stood up.
'Fine. If you want to. But maybe she will lie or something. You see, I did some spell and its very apparent her hair got stuck on Rox's fur after he died. And I think Felicity is behind that werewolf girl's death too.'
' You have no proof. Stop it. Our conversation is over Rebal. I am going to talk to Felicity.' I was darn agitated at the boy.
'Myra I don't think she is safe. You need to maintain distance or rather change dorms.' That was it. I took off. I had enough.
And as I remembered all the time we spent together in the last few days, her caring nature and loving attitude , I was finding it rather difficult to believe Felicity can be a murderer.
