Myra POV
The answe is a candle. I remember when I was 6, my dad used to play riddles with me. I was so small, sitting on his lap and eyeing the tub of ice-cream which I would win if I answer the riddles correctly. I would always fail but the tub was given to me. I had the sweetest parents. So I was kind of mad that them for leaving me so early.
' Candle' I answered as Jeffery was processing the question.
The portrait flung open into a door. Inside was the most luxurious room I had ever seen. There were paintings and tapestries everywhere. Cupsets and ivory figurines adorned mahogany wood furnitues. Everything was buried in dust though. Jeffery made his was inside and continue to walk past all this dazzles to the farthest corner of the room. I followed him quietly.
' There is hardly any changes here. I wonder what the security password was all about. It was quite easy and lame though.' Jeffery finally spoke.
The corner was piled with mirrors. Large and small, gilded and silvered mirrors filled every inch of the walls. More standing mirrors occupied the floor. But I heart skipped a beat when I saw a shadow moving in one of the mirrors.
' What is that?' I pointed towards it.
'What is what?' Jeffery asked confused. Did he not see the figure in the mirror? Was I hallucinating?
But wait. It happened again. The dark shadow appearing and disappearing.
'What are the mirrors for?' I asked curiously.
' I am not sure but its rumoured to be prison worlds.'
'Prison worlds? Do you think Felicity could be in one of them?' I enquired.
' I was wondering that too. But if Felicity is here she had most probably comitted an unpardonable crime like mudering soneone.' He seemed confused. 'Wait..do you..'
' Think Felicity was the one behind the recent deaths? No. It makes no sense.' I assereted.
'But then why is she here? Lets find out which mirror she is trapped in.'
One by one Jeffery tried to experiment with each mirror and finally paused infront of that ghostly one.
'This one. I sense her here. I could smell here even.' Jeffery said.
'Let me see.' I have zero idea about prison mirror but as I leaned towards it, Felicity's plea for help surfaced in my ears. ' Yes..I can sense it too.'
