The siblings

I unlocked the tent using the lock I found near it. After collecting my bags from the place Matt and I sat, I had told him I'd see him around and left to search for a tent.

I did not really want to be the center of attraction and so I chose a tent at the end of the ground where only a few tents were located. I know I was here to socialize but I needed my own space in the tent at least.

The tent had enough space for one person or maybe one couple to stay. There was a mattress along with soft blankets and pillows just like during treks. The tent was lit with a yellow light that shined beautifully in the evening darkness.

I placed my bag on the ground and sat on the soft mattress relaxing.

~~~~~~~~
I woke up at the voice outside my tent. "Can you hear me ma'am? Dinner is ready!" the voice said. Apart from being so tired throughout the day, the mattress was just too comfortable. I didn't even know for how long I had been taking a nap.
Fixing myself I got up from the mattress and opened the tent. A girl I remembered as the cook who had served some snacks earlier stood at the door. She looked tired in a stained apron and black dress.
"The Master and Mistress are expecting you for dinner. Would you be joining us?" she asked politely. "Sure.." I said awkwardly and thinking if that was an option. Would they get me food in my room if I had rejected her offer? I wondered.
I followed her to the center of the ground where beautiful arrangements were made for dinner with a huge table and chairs around it. The table was big enough for everyone to sit. The Master and Mistress were already seated at the head of the table. All the people sitting on the table seemed familiar from morning.
I saw Matt seated at the third chair and gratefully smiled when the seat next to him wasn't taken. I rushed to him and slid in the seat beside him. As soon as he saw me, he smiled widely and passed me a plate from the stack of plates beside him and I salivated as the cook started to serve food on our plates.
My eyes travelled round the table like they were searching for something. They stopped when they were met with familiar deep grey eyes. He stared at me in such a way that my body tensed.
One moment, his eyes bored into mine trying to converse, next moment he looked away from me as if the conversation was getting too toxic. He went back to focusing on his food poking on it.
I shifted my thoughts from him and started savoring the delicious mashed potatoes and spaghetti served on my plate after which I unknowingly let out a soft moan.
"Tasty isn't it?" a boy I'd noticed in the morning and was now sitting on my other side asked. "Pardon?" I asked hoping he hadn't heard my moan. "Hi! I'm Austin." He said smiling and stuffing another spoon of mashed potato in his mouth.
He was attractive and looked about my age. His hair was neatly set on the side. He wore a printed tee which totally suited him. "Hey! I'm Calisse. Call me Cali." I smiled back at him. "So Cali? Like this place yet?" he asked curiously.
I thought a little before I answered, "Haven't experienced much of it yet" I replied. "What? I almost know everything about this place by now!" He exclaimed. "Really? What do you mean?" I asked confused.
Finishing his mouthful of spaghetti and placing his fork back on the plate, he leaned in closer towards me. "Look at everyone. That boy there" he pointed quickly taking his finger back "his name is Dylan. He likes the girl beside him and I already envy her for that. Look at the way he's looking at her" he said grinning.
"And that boy" he continued, "he's definitely gay so I'm going to try for him. But the girl beside him seems to like him.. she doesn't probably know." He said with a shrug. I looked at each person he pointed impressed.
Austin was himself gay. He introduced me to his sister Amy who was sitting beside him before continuing.
"Hey what about that hot guy there" Amy elbowed her brother pointing a few chairs away. I followed her finger only to gaze at the deep grey eyes she was referring to and almost swallowed my food.
"Ooh what a snack" Austin whispered. "Wait... is he looking at you?" Amy noticed as she traced his eyes and stopped at me thoughtfully. She then strained her head to the person sitting on the other side of me.
Matt sat there digging into his food. "I thought you two had a thing. Why is that hot soul looking at you like that.?" he asked confused.
I was too embarrassed to say anything. I stuffed my mouth with the spaghetti left in my plate and sat there chewing for sometime and as soon as I was done I stormed back to my tent.
The siblings were giving me worried looks bit I didn't turn to look at them. I couldn't stop thinking about that man. Why would he stare at me like that. What was his name? I didn't even know his name! What was his problem? I guess I would never know.
I entered my tent and decided that I wanted to end for the day. My hands shuffled in my bag and I pulled out my favorite pajamas wanting so much to feel comfortable.
I opened the zip of my dress and pulled it over my head. Before I could reach out for my pajamas I heard my tent entrance shuffle. My head snapped towards it only to face a pair of familiar cloudy grey eyes.
His body tensed and the color of his eyes changed. It took me a second to realize I wasn't wearing anything except my innerwear. I pulled the blankets over me, color drained from my face.
"What do you think you are doing!" I glared at him. "I'm so sorry! I thought this was my tent.. I'll just go.. I'm so sorry" he said before turning and storming out of my tent. I stared dumbfounded at the now empty place.
His dark embarrassed eyes hadn't left my memory. That night, though I'd embarrassed myself way too much, I blushed before I drifted off to sleep.
