[1] Birth of the Uchiha Twins

"Why is it taking so long?" Fugaku mumbled again as he and his soon-to-be elder son waited in the hospital's waiting. It's has been about four hours since his wife went to labor so it was quite normal that they started getting worried. However the soon-to-be brother was a little amused to see his father like this since the man always wore an emotionless mask. Soon a doctor approached to them smiling. The two Uchiha stood up at once. "So doctor how is she?" Fugaku asked. "Everything went well. The childbirth showed to be complicated since we didn't expect babies" Itachi and his father raised an eyebrow. "Babies?" They asked at the same time. The doctor smiled and motioned them to follow. They did as he said and followed him into a room. There they saw a woman with onyx hair, sleeping with a face that showed tiredness. Beside her was a cradle with two babies in it. A boy and a girl. Both had onyx eyes and hair. When they entered the woman half opened her eyes.

"Hey my boys" She said weakly. Fugaku walked to his wife Mikoto while Itachi walked to the twin babies. The doctor had left, leaving some privacy to the family. "You are okay Mikoto?" Fugaku asked. "Yeah I am fine and full of energy after four hard hours of pushing" She said sarcastically. Fugaku rolled his eyes while Itachi giggled before looking back at the twins. "I think we should choose their names now" "So how do you want to name them?" Mikoto asked. Both men (boy for Itachi) put their hands under their chins thoughtfully. "Let's name the boy Sasuke" Fugaku said.. "Just like the third Hokage's father?" he nodded. "So that he become a strong ninja" Mikoto smiled. "And the girl?" Itachi thought a minute before snapping his fingers. "What about-" He was cut off by the entry of the doctor.

"Mr. Uchiha I am sorry to bother you but there's something you must know" He said. Itachi had a bad feeling about it. The doctor looked at the documents in his hands. "As you already know we do exams to each baby being born in a clan that possess a Dojutsu and we had discovered that..." His voice trailed off. not knowing how to tell them the news. "Are you going to talk or not?" Fugaku asked trying his best to contain his anger and annoyance. "I am sorry Mr. Uchiha but your daughter won't be able to use the Sharingan" The whole family gasped. He didn't say that the Uchiha's head daughter won't be able to use the kekkai gekkai that made the honor of the clan right?

"If this is a joke then it isn't funny at all" Fugaku said angrily. "I am sorry sir" He said and walked away. The atmosphere grew silent and very tensed. Fugaku had his teeth gripped and his handed balled in fists. "Hmm H-How did you say you wanted to name her Itachi?" Mikoto said trying cool down the mood. "W-Well I thought of Akari. What do you think?" She smiled. "That sounds good. Akari Uchiha"
"NO"

They looked at Fugaku surprised. "She is not and will never be an Uchiha" He said, anger and disappointment slipping out of his mouth. Mikoto's jam dropped. "Fugaku how dare you say something like that! She is your daughter" He groaned and walked away, slamming the door behind him.

Then Akari started crying, feeling the hatred that awaits her out of this place.
