"You're late Naruto. Alright Team seven- The target is moving. Don't loose sight of it" Kakashi said. "How is the target far from you?" He asked. "About two meters. I am ready to go whenever you want" Naruto said. "So do I" Sasuke said. "Same here" Sakura said. "Let's get started already" Akari growled. "Okay Go!" As he said the team jumped and Naruto caught in his arms.....a cat? The thing was that the cat wasn't going to be caught that easily. He started scratching him all over his head. "The target is captured" Sasuke said to Kakashi through earpieces. "Does it have a ribbon?" He asked. "Indeed" Akari said annoyed. "Mission: Capturing the cat Tora is a success then" "CAN'T WE DO BETTER MISSIONS THAN CATCHING A CAT!?" Naruto yelled.

HOKAGE'S BUILDING

Team seven sweat dropped when they saw a woman smashing the poor Tora against her cheeks. "Aww Tora you made me so worried." She stated and Akari believed to have seen the cat anime crying. 'Poor cat' She thought. "Serve you right stupid cat" Naruto said grinning. The Hokage took a file and started mumbling future 'missions' for Team seven.

"NO STOP IT RIGHT THERE GRAMPS. WE'RE TIRED OF THOSE CHORES. GIVE US REAL MISSION" Naruto yelled, crossing his arms in a X shape. "You idiot. You're just genin. You are not skilled enough to get higher missions" Iruka yelled. "And how do you want is to improve with these cho-" Naruto was cut off by being smashed upside down by Akari. "Ouch Akari-Chan" He whined. "You're too loud Naruto" She said making him pout. "But you know I am right. These aren't missions at all" He whined again. " You have a point but he is the Hokage. Don't just go and yell at his face" He pouted and crossed his hands. "Alright, Alright" he mumbled.

She rolled her eyes and messed his hair. Hiruzen chuckled staring at them. 'It seems these are getting along' He thought and said "I guess I can give a C-Rank mission. You will be escorting someone. "Naruto face's brightened as he got up punching the air. "ALRIGHT!" He exclaimed. "Who will it be? A feudal Lord? Or a princess?" He asked excitedly. "Tazuna you can come in" The Hokage called. The door opened to reveal an half-drunk man with a bottle of sake in his arms. "What? They are the ones who will escort me?!? But they are just kids" He said. "Team seven this is Tazuna a bridge builder from the Land of Waves" The name of the Land peeked Akari's attention. 'Land of Waves huh?' She thought smirking, something Sasuke caught.

"They don't seem strong at all. Exceptionally the short one with an idiotic face" He said making Naruto laugh. "I wonder who the short one with an idiotic face is" he stated. The rest of the team stared at him before lining up. Sasuke and Akari had almost the same height (There are very few inches separating them), Sakura was a few shorter than them which led Naruto be the shortest. "I WILL DEMOLISH YOU' He yelled while Akari held him by the collar, preventing him from charging at him.

"Watch your tongue. I am Tazuna, an expert bridge builder and you will have the privilege to escort me" Tazuna said. 'Privilege my ass' Akari thought but something about this mission made her excited inside.

HOURS LATER

'What on earth?' Akari thought as her eyes landed on a puddle. 'Please can't they find a better way to sneak' She thought smirking. She shot her sensei a look which he replied by a slight nod. Then two chains shot out of the puddle and wrapped around Kakashi. "What the?" Kakashi pretended to be shocked. The two ninjas holding the chains tightened it and shattered 'Kakashi' in piece.

"KAKASHI-SENSEI" Naruto and Sakura yelled, horrified. Sasuke would have been horrified too if he hadn't seen the soothing look Akari gave him. 'Stay calm. We got to protect the others' Her eyes seemed to have told him. He nodded sending her a smirk which she sent back. The ninjas appeared behind Naruto and prepared themselves to attack him. The Uchiha's twins eye locked before jumping in the sky. Akari took a shuriken and threw it directly at the chains, making it stuck on a tree. Sasuke took a kunai and threw it right in the shuriken hole, blocking the ninjas from moving.

'Gotcha' They thought at the same time. Sasuke landed on their arms and kicked them away. The chains got disconnected for them and they ran in different ways. One went for Naruto and the other for Sakura. Again, the twins locked eyes before running after them. Akari appeared before Naruto and did hand signs. "Fire style, Fire dragon justu" She exhaled a fire dragon and sent him(the ninja) flying away. Sasuke in meanwhile kicked his enemy high in the sky too. The fire dragon started spinning around them, preventing them from falling "Sasuke catch" Akari said throwing one of their chains while she held another. Sasuke caught it, knowing what she wanted to do. They both started to spin the chains in a circle preparing to throw it. "Release" Akari said and her dragon turned into the Uchiha symbol before disappearing and the ninjas started falling. "NOW" They both threw the chains at them, wrapping them around them tightly. The Uchihas threw the other ends of the chains around a tree then Akari grabbed Sasuke's chain while Sasuke grabbed hers and they both pulled. At the end, instead of falling on the ground, they ended tightened up at the tree.

Naruto, Sakura and Tazuna looked at them in awe then Sakura squealed "That's was so cool Sasuke-Kun, Akari-San" She exclaimed. Akari raised an eyebrow wondering why Sakura was calling her -san all of sudden. "That was really impressive" They turned and saw Kakashi coming out of the bushes. "Kakashi-sensei you're alive" Naruto exclaimed. "Oh Naruto. You're wounded. Sorry I would have come to help you but I wasn't expecting you to freeze" Kakashi said before turning to Akari and Sasuke. "For people who don't get along, you two sure know how to work together. Great teamwork you showed." He said. Akari hmphed and looked away in pride while Sasuke rolled his eyes at her. 'They are really related after all' Kakashi thought before looking at the ninjas that attacked them.

"They are chuunins from the Hidden Mist Village specialized in assassination." He said. "How did you noticed us?" One of them asked. "I am not the only one who noticed you" he started eyeing Akari then continued. "It was kind of obvious. It hasn't rain for weeks so how could a puddle still remains" He said. "If you knew it, why did you let them attack us?" Tazuna asked. "Who were they targeting? Were they after us ninjas or someone else? This was something I needed to know. You never told you had dangerous ninjas targeting you Tazuna" Kakashi replied. "Which means this is no longer C-Rank mission but a B-Rank mission" Akari said and earned a nod of approval from Kakashi.

"Then we are no match for this mission. We should go back to the village and withdraw the mission. Also Naruto's wounded. He cannot continue in his state" Sakura said. "What are you saying Sakura-Chan?" Naruto asked slightly angered. "You didn't realize? They had poison on their claws and you are already infected" Akari said then turned to Kakashi. "What should we do then?" She asked him. "Sakura's right. We will have to go back to the village. Naruto needs to be healed." Just then Naruto took his kunai and pierced the back of his hand, exactly where he was wounded.

"Why? Why is he always me ? I have always worked hard to be become strong but... Damn it!" He exclaimed. "N-Naruto y-you-" Sakura was cut off by Akari bringing her hand aside to stop her from speaking. "I pledge on the pain I am bearing, from this blood flowing that I will never be afraid. I will never loose to Sasuke and I will continue escorting this old man. I swear on this wound that I will never give. I can't give up while I promised something important to Akari-Chan" he turned around and showed them a smirk. "This mission is not over yet" He said proudly. "What you said was really touching Naruto. I understand that you stabbed yourself to prevent the poison in my body to spread but if you loose more blood you will die" Kakashi said.

Naruto's expression fell as he looked at Akari, with a he-is-kidding-right? look. "He isn't kidding ya know! I am even surprised you're not dead now" She said smirking and out of blue, Naruto started screaming while running around. Kakashi stopped him and wrapped his hand with bandages. "H-Hey Kakashi-sensei I won't die right?" Naruto asked frightened. "Don't worry you won't" He said but Akari sensed of troublesome in his voice. "So we continue?" He nodded. "Yeah let's get going and be all on your guard" They nodded and walked away. "Naruto" Akari called him. He gave her a questionable face. "It was really cool what you said. if you really meant those words, then nothing will ever stop you" She said and walked passed him. Naruto widened his eyes, registering what she said and when he did, he grinned brightly. Akari still walking away turned her head and gave him a slight smile. "You're coming Naruto?It is time for you to become a hero." His grin widened and he ran to her. "ALRIGHT"
