Chapter 8

Sohyun's POV
The day finally arrived we had to go trekking for 3 days, and I have made my mind to get as many merits points as I could.
Yoojung and I left our room for bus, Yoojung said, "I will report to sir about us, go inside bus and save seat for us," I nodded and got on the bus and even saved a seat for Yoojung.
I faced towards window and waited for Yoojung, I felt someone sitting next to me. "Are all...." Before I could finish my sentence I came to know that the one who sat next to me wasn't Yoojung. "Minjae, how dare you?" I gave him my coldest look.

"Are you Elsa?", he replied with his husky voice. This irritated me and was about to change my seat but I guess today isn't my day, all seats were booked and the only empty seat was next to sehun.
I signed and sat again, Yoojung came inside and looked for me, when she saw Minjae with me, I saw her whispering something to chanyeol who was just behind her.
Yoojung and Minjae's quarrel began once again. He wasn't moving an inch from the seat. Yoojung gave up and sat with our class president, D.O.
Then my phone beeped, it was from Yoojung, instantly I looked at her and she was asking me to read the text.

Yoojung: this playboy ain't going to                  leave you. Would you mind sitting with sehun.

Me: no, never I am not going to sit with him, you know I hate him.

Yoojung: then sit with Minjae, its your last option

Me: I don't want to sit with this playboy!!!

Yoojung: stop being stubborn, you have the option to choose between a nosy playboy and a ice king. You two are best for each other, as you are the ice queen.

I agreed with her idea and got up from my seat, Minjae gave me a shocked look. I just ignored and walked toward chanyeol, before I could utter a word, chanyeol stood up smiling and went to drag Minjae who was following me.
yes, I am sitting next to this ice king and my study rival. All eyes were on us, aish why do I always attract attention. I signed with irritation, I felt as if sehun laughed at me. How dare he? I was about to say something but saw his emotionless face facing window.
Am I hallucinating, why did I feel like he laughed at me, aish I hate him, his smile and everything.

Sehun's POV
I was in the bus waiting for chanyeol, he went to get water. I saw her coming in, she was looking simple and pretty and I wanted her to sit next to me, not just today, but for life.
Woh...what am I thinking, I don't like her its just that she is pretty. I smiled to myself, my smile was short lived as I saw Minjae sitting next to her. I was about to go to him and punch him on the face when a girl approached me, "is the seat empty?", I rudely replied, "No" She didn't give up, "you usually don't go for trekking, what's the special ocassion this year." She is irritating me, I want her to leave, I want to see what they are doing. Many things were on my mind, so I just gave her a death glare and said, "Get lost!".
I could see tears filling in her eyes but she was getting on my nerves. When she left, I turned towards them and saw Yoojung and Minjae quarreling.
Chanyeol sat next to me and said, "Don't worry, she will sit next to you." I stared at him wondering how he knows every small details of me.
My best friend, who understands me even when I don't utter a thing.

As he said Sohyun walked toward us as chanyeol stood up and dragged Minjae, my mind was at peace. But my heart wasn't, it was beating really fast, I saw her sighing, I think she hates attention, I could not hold my smile but I quickly turned towards window to avoid her eyes.

Mr. Lee entered the bus, " I guess all are here....."
He went on explaining the rules, all do and don'ts were done.
I kept on facing window to avoid her eyes, when I meet her eyes, I get a twinkling sensation in my heart, I don't have any idea why.

I was controlling my heart when something heavy feel on my shoulder. Yes, she had fallen asleep on my shoulder, I could not describe what I was feeling but it was very new to me.
I didn't even realize we have reached our destination until Yoojung came to us and woke Sohyun up.

"Sorry, I feel asleep, hope your shoulder is fine", it was the first time she is speaking to me causally. She is usually rude to me. I just smiled. I instantly regretted, when she walked out without saying anymore. I should have said something, now I am back to square one. Chanyeol walked towards me, "what the hell are you doing, she must be thinking you were teasing her, you have zero knowledge about girls"
"Leave it" I was disappointed but I pressed it under cold answer.

"This ice king and ice queen are the most difficult to deal with"
"I can hear you", I turned to chanyeol and gave him a sly smile.
