Chapter 9

Sohyun's POV
This is really irritating me, how can he tease me to have fallen asleep, isn't that normal? I couldn't stop myself from getting embarrassed of falling asleep. And that jerk have the guts to tease me, its okay I will show him his place by winning tomorrow.

Mr. Lee told us to gather so as to brief about tomorrow's program, firstly we had to built a tent to spend the night here. Due to my anger, I wasn't able to focus on the scenery, but now I was able to gaspe it. It was beautiful, never in my life had I been to a remote place, the tall trees were standing green and the mountain just made the view perfect. I could see few houses, may be we really have to built tents, we were divided 5 in each tent, Yoojung and other three who introduced themselves as Jennie, Rose and Lisa were placed with me. They seemed pretty and friendly. Since, I have the tendency to like being alone, I just came to know them today.
I really wanted to be friendly and all but I just don't like being in the crowd or being friends with many. To me Yoojung is enough.

We started to disperse after Mr. Lee finished all his lecture about safety and all. We all started to built our tents right after having lunch. Minjae walked to us and offered his help.
"Hey girls! Need any help?"
Yoojung was fast enough to answer,
"Off course, we need your help here can you please pull that side."
She made the best use of opportunity, I was just smiling at her witty side.

"Woh, the ice queen is smiling, is that because I am helping you and that made your heart flutter?" Minjae asked his brows raised.
I can't believe this guy, I just didn't reply nor look at him. I could sense other girls laughing at him.
"Oh girls, how could you laugh at this handsome guy and Sohyun-ah, you are the only girl who is not falling for me. Its just not fair, I will make you fall for me."
"Is that a challenge? Then play it yourself I am not interested in this type of games nor do I have time to play with you." He was irritating me, I just walked out of the place toward a quite place. Just in time, my phone rang, it was from mom, I received the call,
Mom: Sohyun baby, are you fine? Have you reached the destination?

Me: yes mom, its nice place but I think its really suffocating to be around many people.

Mom: Sohyun-ah you should get used to the crowd, you will have to face the situation even worse than today. Sohyun-ah you need to learn to adjust.

Me: you are starting your lecture again? And mom, I am trying my best to be normal. Moreover, I don't like the life of riches where we have many spectator and I feel like there are many eyes on us who are just waiting for us to make mistake.

Mom: I understand but this is your fate and if you don't make any mistakes, no ones going to blame you. you know we are always by your side and your dad here is waiting for you to finish your studies to take over the business. Ah! I was about to forget, you need to come back day after tomorrow.

Me: aish! How could I forget dad's birthday?

Mom: I just wanted to remind you. I know you are busy with studies and all but be home on that day.

Me: I am coming back, Mom how could I miss my sweet dad's birthday.

Mom: my friend have a son in same school as you, so you can come with him.

Me: Mom, can't you send a car?

Mom: baby...

Before she could answer, Mr. Lee called us to gather.

Me: bye mom let's talk later. I have got something to do.

Minjae's POV
I was complaining to chanyeol about how unfair it was to let me sit next to him. I think he is making a wall between Sohyun and me. I don't know why but in terms of Sohyun I really feel something that I have never felt before.

I feel like I want to protect her, though she is strong enough to protect herself but I don't know what does she have, maybe the big brown eyes, her rosy lips or the pretty face.
My flirting skills falls to square 1 when I am in front of her, I don't know what is happening to me.

We dispersed to have lunch and we were told to built tents after that. I watched her eating lunch with other girls. I could feel Yoojung's cold stare, I guess she knows how I feel thats why keeps on coming between us. I just gave her my signature wink. And as always I could sense her irritated face. Yoojung and I were good friends till I broke her cousin's, what was her name, Saeron, yes Kim Saeron's heart.

And again I am behind her friend. Why do I always feel for someone who is connected with Yoojung, if Sohyun wasn't her friend it would be a different story.

After lunch, we went to built our tent. I was with this ice king, chanyeol dragged me to their group. I just finished with ours, when I saw Sohyun's group facing trouble with the tent. I walked towards them,
"Hey girls! Need any help?"
Yoojung replied,
"Off course, we need your help here can you please pull that side."
I could see Sohyun smiling and took the opportunity to tease her,
"Woh, the ice queen is smiling, is that because I am helping you and that made your heart flutter?"
She just completely ignored me, and this really scratched my heart, the girls around were laughing at me, I was really embarrassed, so I further said something that I didn't intend to say, I just said, "Oh girls, how could you laugh at this handsome guy and Sohyun-ah, you are the only girl who is not falling for me. Its just not fair, I will make you fall for me."
What she replied was totally unexpected,
"Is that a challenge? Then play it yourself I am not interested in this type of games nor do I have time to play with you."
She just walked away, I kicked the bottle that was next to me, "aish..." I was really upset, I turned towards my tent just to meet the cold glares of ice king. I don't have any idea what's going on with him and why is he staring to me with those scary eyes.
