Sohyun's POV
Today is the result day, I am sure that I am going to get the first position today, Mr. Lee entered the class, "Good morning class, today I am with your mark sheets. Kim Minjae, you need to stop flirting with girls and focus on studies."
I saw Yoojung giving him a irritating smile and he returned her the same. I think they the the tom and jerry of our class, no one quarrels more than them in our class.
I feel Mr. Lee's glance on me when he was revealing the holder of second, this can't be possible, this cannot happen again , no...
"And Kim Sohyun you came second and as always Oh Sehun you topped again."
This broke my pride again. Why, how can I come second, I did my best. I felt Yoojung staring me, I can see what she was thinking, I thinks she feels pity on me, so without saying anything to her, I stood up and left after informing Mr. Lee that I need to visit nurse due to my headache.
I felt sehun staring at me but I just ignored his eyes and dashed out of the class.

During recess Yoojung came to me and said, "Sohyun-ah Mr. Lee mentioned in the morning that we are going for a trekking and you are going to get merit points if you join this time," she look at me expecting positive response and I know how much she loves trekking so I just nodded giving her a half smile. My mood is really bad due to result. Yoojung was so happy that I agreed to go, she jumped towards me and walked towards class president to give our names.

As soon as she left, I received a call from my mom, "how was the result?"
"Mom, Don't ask me.." I replied rudely.
Maybe she knew the answer, I could hear her laugh through phone and this irritated me, " Mom, are you making fun of me?"
"No darling, how could I make fun of you, its okay to get second position."

"No mom! Its not okay"

"Sohyun-ah listen to me, it isn't that you are not good as you get second position and don't worry about future, you very well know that your dad is waiting for you to complete your studies. Her threat worked on me, I don't want to return home without making that dumbass lose.

Sehun's POV
As always I was the the class topper, after results were declared, Sohyun walked out of the class, I don't know what's wrong with her, why is she always giving me dark stares.

It was lunch time when chanyeol wants to confirm, "as always, you won't go for trekking, right?"

"Hmm, you know better than me"

"Okay, I ain't going to submit our names." He continued with his lunch.

Right at that time I heard Minjae who was sitting right behind me talking about Sohyun and Yoojung,"they are going to be there...oh I didn't want to go trekking but if Sohyun is going, how can I refuse to go there"
This made my heart miss a beat, Minjae is going with Sohyun, no, never! This Minjae is going to flirt with Sohyun all day and this isn't good at all.

I banged the table with the thought of Sohyun and this Minjae together, before I could say anything I felt chanyeol enlarged eyes staring at me, then I realized that I shocked him. Without wasting a minute I said, "Let's go trekking, so give our names to class president."
Chanyeol was about to say something to me but I cut him off by saying, "I am done with lunch, finish yours!"
I know that this is the best way to shut his mouth.
