Bracelet of Fate

Taehyung's POV

Dark clouds shrouded the night sky outside our bedroom window. The darkness reflecting the dull feeling I have in my heart. I sighed and closed the window gently and pulled the curtains down to block the light that will seep tomorrow.

"Baby...?"

A voice laced with sleep called out and I immediately turned towards the bed where my precious Jungkook had been sleeping. He raised himself from the bed and rubbed his eyes as he squinted to see me.

"Why are you still up? You have a problem baby?"

I hurried to his side. "Shhh, no. I'm fine. Go back to sleep."

He frowned and reached for me. "Lay with me baby. You know I can't sleep well if you're not on my side."

I let out a faint smile because he spoke the truth. It hasn't even been a minute when I left the bed to stare out the window and he already felt my absence beside him.

I obliged and settled myself under his arms. I snuggled on his broad chest and inhaled that lovely muscular scent of his. His arms wrapped around me instantly, caging me in a warm embrace.

Feeling his warmth made my already chaotic thoughts worse. I couldn't stop my eyes from turning watery. I bit my lower lip to suppress a sob because I didn't want him to worry.

"I love you Taehyung. Like no one else in this world could compare to you. I can't love anyone else aside from you," Jungkook whispered sweetly as he combed my hair gently with his fingers.

I know that if I speak, my voice would be shaky and will give away that I'm crying so I simply nodded.

"You are my first and my last love baby and if I have to live on another life, I'd still look for you. You are my ultimate love."

I know Jungkook...

"One day, I'll ask you to marry me so I can have you for eternity," Jungkook continued.

I can almost feel the smile on his lips. I tried to fix my voice so I could finally speak.

"Ring or no ring, marriage or no marriage, I'm yours Kookie," I replied, snuggling deeper on his chest.

"I know that but I still wanna marry you so you'll be bound to me for good. I can't risk losing you."

I tilted my head to meet his eyes, my heart breaking from his words. I saw panic cross his eyes at once when he saw my glassy eyes. Crystal tears started to fall as I couldn't help it anymore.

"Why are you crying?! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!"

I smiled at him through tears. "It's just... you're making me cry with your words. Oh I love you so much Jungkook!"

I hugged him tightly as if he would disappear anytime soon. Jungkook pulled my face off his chest and tilted my chin upwards. We locked gaze, my eyes full of tears while his full of love and adoration.

"And I love you too my sweet my baby tiger," Jungkook said in a soft sweet voice before he leaned in to place a featherlight kiss on my lips.

One touch of his lips and I feel like I've reached all the heavens. One simple contact and I'm ready to lose it all for the man I love.

"Can you kiss me one last time Kookie?" I pleaded when he disconnected our lips.

"What do you mean one last time?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows.
