3rd Person's POV
T
he Princess regularly found herself enjoying her time spent in Ba Sing Se on multiple occasions, despite all that went on behind the mask of being the supposedly claimed, 'Safest City in The Earth Kingdom'.
She hasn't spoken to Yangchen or the spirit, Eren, since that time in the library with Sadem. When she wasn't with the Dai Li Agent or being trailed after by the other ones- She was in her room, working on that skill of blocking out sound, to keep conversations more private and unheard of. She knew it would aid her in the coming days to weeks.
During the night, close to curfew after dinner was served for her and her cousin, she would venture off into Ba Sing Se, donning the clothes to disguise herself as, 'Siren', a traveler who is currently just visiting her non-existing grandparents.Over the visits, and getting to know Seren better- She decided, if this cooperation of theirs was going to work, she needed to come clean to Seren about who she was. As calmly and slowly as possible so she didn't freak her out too bad. And it would also help Himoko in terms of being able to leave out during the day to observe what the city is like during daytime. She will be able to walk around, of course with guards and agents at her side, as the Princess of Omashu, but with Seren being close by, keeping an eye on her, able to observe other's behaviors more discreetly- It would be beneficial.
She hoped anyway, it was hard to put her plans and ideas into words, mind was constantly working towards a certain outcome... An outcome that she knew wasn't going to be definite.
Tonight was the last night she was going to be known as just Siren by the girl, her newfound friend, she knew and anticipated backlash when she revealed who she truly was. No matter how disheartening it will be for lying to Seren like that- She knew she had to do it, she had only just met the girl and couldn't let spill that she was a Princess of The Earth Kingdom.
But that will come tonight, in the meantime, she needed to speak with her cousin and Long Feng.As she entered the Throne Room, she was welcomed by her cousin's favorite person- Er bear. Bosco. With a nudge of his large head against her front, intending to push her over so he could lay on top of her, suffocating her with his love and fluff. Himoko wouldn't care if he did that, but knowing what it was liked to be glomped by Flopsy- Yeah, she would rather not deal with that when she is wearing a corset underneath her formal attire.
Her lips quirked up into a smile, not letting Bosco push her down affectionately onto the floor, petting the top side of his head and down his neck to the middle of his back, clicking her tongue a few times to beckon him to follow her at her side. Bosco was a very obedient and kind animal, she remembered years ago, Bosco wasn't around, but another animal like him was, just much smaller, like Alea. She could only gather from her surroundings that the animal she had came to know years ago had passed away. She was glad and happy to see her cousin with a new companion.
She giggled when Bosco licked the palm of her hand, feeling his slimy tongue as he went and licked it again.
"Bosco~! Don't lick little Himoko, it's not proper!" Kuei scolded Bosco from his spot on the throne, his attention being diverted to his little cousin's entrance. Away from a few guards that he was speaking to."It's fine, I don't mind. At least it's not Flopsy who would lick your whole face until it was nice, sleek, and shiny with saliva." Stated Himoko, taking the offered handkerchief from one of the guards to wipe her hand off.
"Still though, Bosco is still training in proper manners." Himoko quirked a teasing brow at Kuei. "Proper manners? Not to point it out or anything, but didn't you use to go around and biting everyone until you were 13-" Kuei's face flushed red in embarrassment, quickly changing the topic with the clearing of his throat.
