As I finished, Edward was quiet, he had stopped crying. We stood there, for a few seconds, before I pulled back.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask.

Edward nodded, and we sat down on the floor. He told me everything, from how Peg took him to the town, how he was treated, the lies Joyce spread, and most importantly Kim. He explained how Kim was the only person in the town that had made him feel safe, the only person that made him be able to feel love. Though every moment Kim was mentioned, it seemed like my heart had been shattered. I don't know how to explain it, but it hurt somehow. Though he went on to explain how lonely he was here. He didn't have anyone, only memories of someone he loved, people that hated him, and the damage he had done.

"It's not your fault," I tell him, "You don't have control of how people feel about you. You were placed into a situation that was completely new to you. You never had interacted with so many people and never got so much attention. Being completely unfamiliar to your surroundings is extremely difficult. You shouldn't have been put into so much pressure, and they shouldn't have judged you."

Edward looked over at me, "Though I hurt so many people."

"You didn't mean to! You wanted to help! Kevin for example, you saved him, he would have been hit if you didn't do anything. For the cuts, you couldn't help it, your hands are scissors, scissors are made to cut things. While for Jim, it was just self defense, and if you ask me he deserved it. He treated you horribly, and framed you!"

Edward stayed silent for a bit, "So you don't hate me for what I did?"

"Of course not, you're innocent," I tell him with a stern voice, I wanted him to know that I really meant it.

"Thank you, Y/N," He says giving me a shy smile.

I give him a smile back, "You're welcome."
