Liam drove into school, a weight that had plagued him for days finally dissolved. After his visit with Elisa, the teenager had gone to his own home and called Jack. The younger guy was relieved to know that El now knew the truth. But, he was far from forgiven.
Elisa had told Liam upon his leaving that she still didn't forgive Jack. And the guy understood that: as much as it might have hurt Jack, he shouldn't have been so selfish and pushed that hurt onto El. So, despite Liam feeling much calmer, he still knew he had a long day of trying to prevent World War Three from starting. Keyword trying.
Parking up his car, pissed that someone had stolen his usual spot, Liam grabbed his school bag and walked into school, seeing Elisa back to her normal cocky self and waiting at the entrance for him.
"The people who run this place are knobs." She said as Liam reached her, and the boy burst out laughing.
"No, seriously. I get back, and the first day I have to show a new kid around the school. Can you believe my luck?!" She screeched, and Liam doubled over in an attempt to breathe.
"You- oh my god-" Was all the teenager managed to get out before launching into laughter once again.
After a few minutes, Liam finally managed to control himself, and looked at Elisa as she gave him her revenge news.
"And, considering you seem so interested in this opportunity, you're even going to be accompanying me!" She said with a smirk.
Liam promptly stopped smiling.
"You little-" Attempted the teenager, but was cut off by the bell signalling the start of the day, and Liam and Elisa to go to the front office and start the tour of whatever arsehole they'd be plagued with.

"Thirty minutes of waiting is considered a bit long, right?" Elisa said, flicking the arm of her uncomfortable chair in the office waiting room.
"Yeah, probably." Liam responded, having resorted to counting the leaves on a tree outside a window to keep himself sane.
"Then why the hell have we been waiting an hour?" El said, much softer this time as a teacher walked by.
"I don't know. You have to remember that not every 17-year-old is as angelic as us. He's probably been smoking weed or something." Liam whispered back, and Elisa had to drop her water bottle to cover their combined giggles.
And during these giggles, the guy whom the pair would be showing around the school arrived. It was not an overstatement to say Elisa let out an audible gasp; although even Liam had to admit that the gasp was not unreasoned for.
The six-foot tall thing that had just walked through the door might even give Liam a run for his money when it came to athleticism. Liam was definitely more muscular: the amateur body-builder look had been something the teenager had sported for a couple of years, and this new guy was more on the lean side.
But Liam was pretty sure it was the guy's face that had made Elisa gasp. He was ruggedly handsome, with short, dark brown hair that was styled neatly. Day-old stubble littered his jawline, and the teenager had deep brown eyes that complemented his tanned skin. It was clear that he was from the UK, but definitely hadn't been lacking in the holiday department.
Liam noticed El's shiver as the guy spoke to the office receptionist. "Uh, hi, I'm Luke Daniels." He said, his Welsh accent and deep tone resonating in the room.
Liam tuned out for the rest of the conversation, not that he could have tried anyway. Elisa was, and there was no other way to put it, infatuated with Luke. And Liam had to deal with her for the rest of the school day.
*
First, the two had to show Luke around the school grounds. After that, they'd do the tour around the main building, and finally the separate humanities and music blocks. Their school wasn't the biggest, but it was still going to take the full school day to show Luke every nook and cranny.
Lucky for the three of them, the day Luke had started school was a warm one, so the trip around the school grounds was easy. Although, despite the fact that both Liam and Elisa were supposed to be touring Luke, it turned more into Liam dragging them along while Elisa just waddled along in awe. The trip around the school grounds had also been made quite easy, as Elisa had managed to stay a decent distance away from Luke the entire time – but now came the difficult part. The tour around the main building.
The school wasn't a large one – and it certainly wasn't known for it's open spaces. The corridors were narrow, awful things that got disgustingly hot in the summers, and the classroom weren't much better. So keeping distanced wouldn't be possible for this part of the tour. And Liam could tell Elisa knew it.
The three walked into the main building from the courtyard entrance, with Liam in the lead, with Elisa bringing up the rear, and most definitely looking at Luke's rear. Immediately as they walked through the doors a wave of warmth hit them, and Liam decided that maybe the warm day wasn't so beneficial. He was sweating before he rounded the first corner.
And upon rounding that corner, he abruptly stopped to let one of the teachers walk past – a move that Luke managed to improvise around, but Elisa wasn't so lucky. She walked straight into Luke's back, making him stumble forwards slightly and El fall completely. The poor girl landed straight on her ass, and squeaked at the sudden drop – but the pain was short lived as her entire face blossomed scarlet at the realisation she had just walked straight into Like – and squeaked.
Liam couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at the situation, especially when Luke turned around to see El on her ass and looked even more embarrassed himself.
"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to stop so abruptly. Are you ok?" He said, his voice rumbling in the cramp corridor as he stretched out his hand to help Elisa up.
"Oh, no, I'm fine, thank you. It's not your fault, I just wasn't looking where I was going. Sorry." Elisa replied, still cherry red. Liam was surprised by that alone – it was incredibly rare for Elisa ever to be left blushing by someone.
However, the teenager didn't get very long to marvel at the sight, as pretty soon he was getting a sly death stare that told him if even one comment was made, he was done for. Liam kept walking.
After that small mishap at the start, the tour of the main building went quite well. Even so, by the time the three were walking outside in the courtyard over to the humanities department, they were sweating profusely. It had taken 2 whole hours to tour the main school building, and in 20 minutes from now it would be lunch time – that would hopefully be enough time to tour the humanities department.

As the school day drew to an end, Elisa, Liam and Luke walked out of the assembly hall feeling absolutely god awful. Luke has just received an hour long presentation on what it would be like to be at the school and the expectations – and as Liam and El were supposed to be ideal role models, they had to sit through the torture as well.
But although, as Elisa walked out of the school grounds looking like she was bored, it was very obviously an act in front of Luke. She had a wonderful spring in her step – something Liam hasn't seen for a couple of weeks now, and it had clearly been caused by Luke. An abundance of sly glances had lead Liam to believe that Elisa was infatuated with the new kid.
And he couldn't wait to piss her off about it.
