Jennie's POV

❝ Jennie-ssi...❞, a voiced whispered beside my ear.

I pushed the person off me and turned to the other side. I was about to go back into dreamland but Lisa had other plans.

❝ Ya unnie, sleep more. You'll be late for school today. We'll be going now.❞

WHAT?!

I quickly stood up from the bed and rushed inside the bathroom. I heard the door slam, I guess Lisa already left.

Shit...

I finished my morning routine in under 5 minutes. My heart started hammering inside my chest. I have an audition in the morning, I can't be late. I went down the stairs, placing a hairclip on my hair.

When I arrived in the kitchen, I saw the girls calmly eating their breakfast.

❝ Why are you all so calm? We're late. ❞, Jisoo raised her eyebrows at Lisa, who only shrugged her shoulders.

❝ Lisa!! ❞, I shouted and started running towards her, wigging my finger.

❝ Oh no. ❞, Lisa already sprinted and we're both running around the kitchen, laughing. Jisoo just rubbed her forehead and Chaeyoung who paid no mind since this happens every day.

Once we finally calmed down, we eat breakfast. My mouth watered at the sight of the luscious golden pancakes. The drizzle of syrup dripping down.

❝ Ya Jendukie, I would hurry up if I were you. ❞, I looked up at Jisoo with a questioning gaze, she pointed her fork towards Chaeyoung as she eyed my pancake.

Oh no, you don't.

I glared at Chaeyoung and moved my plate away from her. She noticed this and pouted on her seat. I just chuckled at her cute behavior and gave her a piece of my pancake.

❝ Omo, I love you so much unnie~ ❞, I just rolled my eyes at her, and a small smile plastered on my lips.

These girls mean the world to me. The day I met them is the greatest blessing I ever received.

I was walking in the streets shivering from the cold. It was my first time coming back to Korea after 8 years and I was still not used to this for many changes that occurred. There are more buildings, cars, and architecture than how I use to remember from my childhood.

After being able to graduate middle school there in New Zealand, I decided to go back to Korea to continue my studies there. We moved back to Korea and I was curious about everything, I was wandering around the streets in complete awe.

But I didn't realize that it was getting dark and cold. I shivered as the light breeze hit my pale skin. My heart thumped fast as goosebumps were evident on my skin. I sat on a bench in a park and slumped there.

I felt my body shake as I hated myself for being lost and clueless.

But despite being alone in the dark, a light appeared in my life. I found them, my angels.

They found me crouched down near a building and decided to help me. After that day, we became best friends.

I was way different from how I used to be. From a cry baby to an independent woman, they helped my mold to be...

better...

❝ Jendukie-ah, stop daydreaming, and let's go. We're gonna be late. ❞, Jisoo frowned as she looked at her wristwatch.

We all quickly finished breakfast and grabbed our bags. We head outside the dorm and went to the car.

❝ I call shot-gun! ❞, Lisa shouted and dashed towards the shot-gun.

The three of us just shook our heads and chuckled at the hyper-active maknae.

Just another typical day.

I hope something perks up my mood today.
