Jennie's POV

----

The ride was quiet and the rustling sound of the truck rang softly between my ears for our trip towards the cafe.

I stared at the window and leaned my head against it. The clouds turned grey and teardrops began to fall on the glass panel. I lifted my hand and pointed my forefinger at the falling drop.

click.

clack.

click.

clack.

The rain always reminded me of the day when I felt that I was down, verge of giving up on my shitty life not until a jacket was draped before me. The rain always calmed me down because of that memory that gave me hope. That not all people are bad, just some.

It calms me down whenever I feel any negative emotions. It is my happy place.

I smiled as I stared at the blurred buildings and rain falling to refresh the Earth.

The silent murmurs of the air condition and the slight jingle of the dice hanged on the mirror. I silently glanced at Taehyung who looked at the road ahead.

I stared at his side profile. He's attractive.

The soft curls of his brown hair lashes fanning his face, his long nose to his pink plump lips. He licked his lips and I turned my gaze away, blushing.

Did I just check him out?

"Take a picture, it lasts longer. Sounds cliche huh? Just take me instead and you'll have more than a picture.", he glanced at me and smirk before he eyed the road again.

Smooth.

My mouth hanging open and my face reddened.

So much for wanting to avoid him. Congrats self.

"What the hell would I do with you? Make you a house decoration?", I quickly retorted and faced the window, hiding my embarrassment.

I heard him chuckled as I made contact with his rear-view mirror. I turned away my gaze and fished my phone out of my pockets to avoid the tension.

"Tu m'intéresses Chanel.", he suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.

I turned my face to him, with a confused look etched on my face.

Tu mi wha?

"Speak Korean, I don't understand you Taehyung-ssi.", I bluntly stated as I huffed further into my seat.

He just smiled and continued driving.

The hell?

He just said something out of nowhere then not bother to tell me?

I clicked my tongue and shut my eyes to calm myself.

I never wanted to be associated with this guy but heck, he has to be the one who knows about Wind.

I glared at him internally, wanting to murder his handsome face. I looked at my hands and clenched my fists.

I groaned as I held my stomach as a sudden jolt of pain interfered.

No wonder my mood is acting like a bitch.

"Hey, you alright?"

"Obviously I am thank you very much. Before I murder you into pieces, are we there yet?", I groaned as I held my stomach.

Taehyung pursed his lips and parked the car at the sidelines at an empty road. He opened his truck's compartment and handed me medicine and a water bottle.

I stared at him in disbelief as I never expected him to be like this.

"Yah, take it or I'll force you too.", I quickly grabbed the tablet and bottle and drank the medicine. My stomach started feeling better.

"Thanks. I'm ok now, let's get going.", I let out a small smile in gratitude and faced the window again.

He hummed in response and ignited the engine. We went back to the road once again.

The light pours of the rain dropped harder and the truck's roof rattled sounds from the drop of rain.

I placed both my hands on my arms and rubbed them as I started to feel cold. I blew air into my hands as I warm myself.

Taehyung took notice as I saw him getting something in the back with his one hand while the other driving the steering wheel. My eyes widen in terror as I looked at his position.

Is he stupid?! we're gonna get killed!

Before I was able to speak, my lucky jacket was stuffed in front of my face.

"Wear your jacket, you're freezing. Better make use of it Chanel.", I blushed as I wore my jacket, inhaling the leftover scent.

A small smile plastered on my lips and my heart started hammering inside my chest as I recalled the scenes.

I fisted my hands and placed it above my chest as I feel it.

What is happening to me?

I looked at the rear-view mirror and we had eye contacted again, briefly before he shifted his gaze.

I heard him sighed and leaned back to his seat.

"Maybe it's not the time to tell you, Chanel, it's getting late. I'll drive you home. May I know your address?", I pursed my lips yet sighed, agreeing to him since it is already getting late. The girls must be worried by now.

I hesitantly gave him the address, a walking distance from the dorm and he nodded his head.

I felt tinkles from his thoughtfulness but I shrugged it off. It means nothing, he's just driving me home.

But is that really?

----

Hey it's me. I hope you'll like this short chapter but don't you worry because I'll work on the plot to make it more interesting and have more longer chapters.

I really can't believe that I've already reached 100+ reads. I never really expected that, thank you very much. I'm happy with this small achievement and I hope it grows more.

See you soonest <3
