Jennie's POV
----
I staggered back in shock as my eyes widen as I felt my back against a hard body. The person clamped his hands on my mouth that mumbled my screams.
I closed my hands tight and with all my strength, I turned around and kicked his family jewel.
The guy lowly gruntled, nursing his crotch. I looked away at the sight and took a step back. I grabbed a lamp and held on to it for my dear life.
My breath hitched and shakily too. I started shaking for my dear life but I kept strong.
"W-Who are you?", I shuttered as I slowly neared the crouched figure. He slowly raised his head...
Jin-Oppa?
I stood dumb-folded and lowered the lamp.
Why did Jin-oppa sneak through Jisoo-unnie's balcony?
I placed the lamp back on its table, sighing for being afraid of nothing serious.
I shook my head and helped Jin-Oppa stand up on his feet, a guilty smiled plastered on my lips.
"I'm really sorry about that Jin-Oppa. I thought you're a thief..", I stared at the floor as my feet fidgeted a bit, feeling guilty.
He just rubbed his nape and chuckled, " No need to worry Jennie-ah, I just wanna drop something off for your J-Jisoo-unnie."
My eyes widen in shock, I covered my mouth and muffled a squeal.
I excitedly held Jin-Oppa by his shoulders and stared at his eyes with a glare.
"Oppa, you have my full support. Just don't hurt Jisoo-unnie, she might act strong but she's fragile on the inside. Please take care of her.", I softly smiled at Oppa who smiled back, I hugged him and he responded.
"Thank you Deukie.", he whispered before he broke the hug apart.
"Aren't you forgetting something?", I raised my eyebrows amusingly as Oppa face palmed himself.
Forgetful like a damn old man...
"I heard you, you ungrateful brat.", He teasingly glared at my direction before Jin-Oppa shook his head, a small smile etched on his face.
"Kids these days.", he whispered before he opened his bag, pulling out a rose, sticky note, and tape.
I curiously followed oppa's figure as he neared the balcony window.
He's leaving already?
I was about to come near him until I was rooted in my spot when he stood before the glass and took out the rose and taped it to the wall. Not forgetting to leave the sticky note too.
Jin-oppa smiled at his work, making me smile as well.
I really find it cute that oppa gave effort in making Jisoo-unnie's heart flutter. Both of them deserve love and I know that they are meant to be. Every time I look at their eyes, it's glowing whenever they're near each other.
I snapped back into reality to see Jin-Oppa staring looking lovingly at Jisoo-unnie who is not-so-peacefully slept.
The moonlight shone on Jin-oppa's eyes, highlighting his brown orbs. They shined more once they saw Jisoo-unnie. A small smile plastered on his face and his body slightly relaxed, his hands placed inside his pockets.
They both met at school during the debate event. It was girls vs boys. Typical debate but it started all of these, the time the first made eye-contact, Jisoo-unnie explained that she felt that the world stopped and the surroundings faded. She only saw him, Jin-oppa.
She blushed as she said that, all of us gushing at unnie's newly found crush that time.
I smiled at the memory and caught a glimpse of oppa nearing unnie, crouching down and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. Covering her with the blanket warm, Jisoo-unnie unconsciously smiled as she buried herself in the blanket.
Oppa slowly stood up and placed both hands on his pockets.
"Deukie, it's time for me to go. You should get some sleep, its late.", Jin-oppa said as he walked towards the balcony.
I nodded my head and whispered, "Ne, you should too oppa. Sleep well."
Oppa looked back and smiled, "I will, I get to see your unnie today.", he said before he climbed down from the balcony.
I followed his figure, seeing him climbing down a ladder.
So that's how he went up.
I smiled and leaned towards the railings as I stared at oppa's fading figure. I sighed and frowned for a bit. I wonder how's it like to fall in love?
If only I wasn't traumatized by my past, would I fall in love with someone?
I shook my head at the silly thought and rubbed my arms to create some friction to warm my freezing body yet I made no move to go back in.
I took a deep breath and held on to the railings. I held on to it tight as my knuckles started turning white. Silent tears started falling from the face as I hated myself. I hate myself for being so weak.
My body started to shake as I quietly muffled my cries. I frustratedly pulled my hair as I bit my clenched fist.
When will my wall break down?
When will I experience love?
Why does it have to be hard?
I covered my face and did the tuck-sitting position, burying my face between my arms. My stomach churned and I pressed my hand against it, hoping to feel well soon.
After a few minutes of staring into nothing and calming myself, I slowly stood up a little dizzy. I held into the railing until I balanced myself. I slowly entered the room once again and went out of my room.
I turned the knob and pushed it open. I was welcomed with the scent of the ocean, I let out a small smile and entered my room. I walked towards my bag with I threw on the floor before I was kidnapped by those weirdos.
I sat on the corner of my bed, putting the bag on my lap. It was a bit soaked from the rain.
I'll hang this bag later.
I opened the zip and pulled out the jacket that the weird alien gave me.
I wasn't sure if it's real or not but...
I think I unconsciously smiled as I looked at it...
What's happening to me?
This is way too fast.
Shit.
Kim Taehyung, what have you done?
