My Tongue Is A Pen Of A Ready Writer

Yo sé lo que valgo(I know myself worth)

So tired of being

neglected

Ignored

I want to be appreciated

Is that too much to ask for?

The scars from previous mistreatment are still sore

What is wrong with me that you have to treat me like I don't exist until you feel like using me?

I am so done with being your convenient toy

I'm tired of being manipulated

Do I look like  I am nothing but a good time?

I know my self-worth!

I have a head on my shoulders

I may have been hurt multiple times but I am strong

I have integrity

I will not allow anyone to rid me of my precious value

I am worth more than jewels and dowry

You cannot buy me

I am not an item for purchase

But A woman of substance,

Phenomenonal

Strong

A mother

Caregiver

With many talents and skills

Not to be displayed or used

By someone who does not understand or see what I am worth

I will not settle for less

No voy a conformarse con menos

I am too precious ,

A child of God

I will not allow myself

To be a victim or a slave to the works of the oppressor

I am a Queen nothing more, nothing less

I deserve to be treated as one

With respect 

And I will not have it any other way!
