Chapter 4

*Chrystal’s Pov*

Because it was the first day of school, we got off and hour early (score!). I say goodbye to everyone and fly back home. I kick off my shoes, grab an apple, and flop down on the couch. Ahhhhh... this is the life! An hour off early, a comfy couch and 1000 channels! After watching my favourite shows, I go on Unicorn Horn online chat and see that Bridgette was online. This is how our conversation went.

ShinyChrystal24: Hey Bridge!

BlackBridge59: Hola

ShinyChrystal24: wsp?

BlackBridge59: Nm, just creeping *Green Eyes* Home page. Hbu?

ShinyChrystal24: WHAT?? How did you find David's home page????

BlackBridge59: Is that what his name is? Oh, and Benjamin told me. Well, not really told, I sorta put a truth spell on him and asked him what it was. Bwahaha P-) Oh and your welcome.

Shiny Chrystal24: I can't believe you did that! You know we’re not allowed to cast spells outside of school except if there’s and emergency!! If the principle found out you did that, you could have lost your powers!! And why am I saying thank you?

BlackBridge59: For the information I'm about to give you. On his profile, it says he was born in England and moved here when he was 12. It also says he’s not in a relationship!! < ; D

ShinyChrystal24: … so that’s why he has the accent! Thank you!  :) 

BlackBridge59: no problem ;) hey sorry Cryst, I have to go walk my dragon. I’ll talk to you later k? bye :)

ShinyChrystal24: ok byee!! :)

I lean back in my chair. He’s available! I have a chance! I start to do a little dance in my chair. But then a thought flashed in my head. I cant believe Bridgette cast a spell and could have lost her powers, just to find out what his profile was, for me. I smile to myself, I have the best friends ever! 

“CHRYSTAL! DINNER TIME!!”

Wow, now that I think of it, I am hungry…

“COMIN!”

I stumble and almost fall down the stairs to the dinner table to see my mother and father waiting for me at the table. My mother has short brown hair, brown eyes, and is a little shorter than me. My father is bald, has blue/gray eyes, and is much taller than me! I quickly sit down and we pray, then start eating. As I’m twirling the pasta onto my fork, my mother asks “So how was your first day of high school? Tell me everything.” So I told her what classes I had, how my friends were, how annoying the teachers were, but I decided to leave out the part about David. She smiles and nods her head, and says the occasional “yea,” and “uh huh,”. When I was done, my parents start talking about how they remembered high school, and all the crazy things that they did. Apparently, my mother accidentally turned one of her teachers into a frog, and my father almost blew up the school! After laughing so hard, that my stomach hurt. I put away the dishes and go up to my room to read. I’m reading this book that’s almost like “Snow White“, but instead, there’s a lot of singing in it, the main girl is actually ugly, and there’s gnomes instead of dwarfs. I get under the covers in my bed and start to read. I end up finishing the book later on. The girl and the prince ended up getting married! I sigh, but then it turns into a yawn. Hmm, I think I’ll hit the sack a little early. I put the book down, turn off the lights, flop my head onto the pillow and slowly close my eyes.
