Nothing prepared him for this; nothing had his mind quiet down for when his heart actually thumped against his chest, begging to be loved, when he feared it. Not even the infamous Dr. Ji had told him what to do, nor how to act on his core being shaken by a simple breath.
All the same, Wei was there utterly frozen in place, watching as the man he thought was simply his boss nipped and licked his neck, while everyone else was enjoying the company party.
The two had spent all day working side by side, after the incident in Wei's apartment. Hours later, Wei could feel his anxiety spike, wanting to skip this party to try and create some distance with Mark. However, Mina had elected to join him, knowing he would regret not going.
Little did she know, he would be spending it in the office bathroom with his boss making him pant and breathless.
"Mark..." Wei had his head against the bathroom door, eyes closed in ecstasy, trying to hold himself together.
"Why do you make me want more than I would ever give?" Mark could feel his pants tighten, as their bodies were slowly forming into one.
"They'll notice we're gone soon enough, Mark," he managed to word between heated breaths, "Your friends flew in to see you," Wei attempted to search for excuses, but his body was electrified with flames, begging for more.
"I can't stay away from you, and that scares me more than the damn fear I have of falling in love," Mark couldn't believe his mouth betrayed him to voice that out loud, "Keep saying my name, and I won't be able to hold myself back."
"That hasn't changed then," the younger man responded, which had the raven haired man widen his eyes.
"Mark, I know you're in there; Eli and I miss you, so get out here now!" Ava called, banging on the door. She had flown in with Taylor to see her friend, as it had been quite a while since they last saw on another.
"While you're at it, find Wei," a tone of amusement was laced in Mina's voice, as she shouted beside her.
Mark simply ignored their calls, his lips kissing up Wei's jaw, reaching his intoxicating lips. A low moan full of desire escaped the younger man's mouth, his body ignited with constant shivers. The hunger in Mark's eyes was more than evident, as he bit Wei's bottom lip, his hands pulling on the brown locks.
"You could be my kryptonite, Wei," Mark finally pulled away, feeling his heart crying for space and time away from the brown haired man.
"We should-"
"I don't like the way Zheng looks at you, Wei," Mark heard himself speak, their eyes glazed with nothing but lust.
"I don't like the way you make my heart break, yet mend all at once, when I know nothing about you from this lifetime."
"This life-"
Before letting anything else slip, Wei ran out, making his way towards the others. His eyes scanned the room, landing on brown ones dressed with mischief. Speed walking towards her, he felt his center utterly wiped out and confused, uncertain on what it, or he, himself, wanted.
"Was it that good? You're running away," Mina laughed, pulling a chair out for him to sit on.
The office had been transformed into a hall with a bar, a buffet, and even a chocolate fountain. Haru exclaimed that without a chocolate fountain, it wasn't officially a party. Haru had outdone herself with preparations in hopes of bringing nothing but positivity into the company and to this new start.
"We just kissed, and he decided to use my neck as a canvas for some art," the brown haired man brushed his hair back with his hands, his eyes focused on one chocolate brown eyed man, standing right in front of him, greeting his friends.
